The Wrestling Roundup is here to bring you all the news and rumors you need to know in one place.

WWE Raw Results:

We are in the home-stretch for Survivor Series. For the first time in history, NXT will also be competing against Raw and SmackDown for brand supremacy. Did NXT strike again on Raw ahead of Survivor Series? Lets check the results:

  • Becky Lynch & Charlotte def. The IIconics
  • Humberto Carillo def. Karl Anderson
  • Bobby Lashley def. No Way Jose
  • Andrade versus Seth Rollins goes to a no-contest due to Lucha House Party interfering
  • Buddy Murphy def. Akira Tozawa
  • Erick Rowan def. Local talent
  • Kevin Owens versus Drew McIntyre goes to a no-contest due to Triple H interfering
  • Asuka def. Natalya
  • Viking Raiders versus Randy Orton and Ricochet goes to a no-contest due to SmackDown and NXT interfering.

Raw Takeaways:

The NXT invasion continued ahead of this weekend. Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke & Marina Shafir attacked after the opener. SmackDown also invaded, with Lucha House Party breaking up the Rollins-Andrade match. Triple H came out later to try and convince Kevin Owens to return to NXT, and it lead to an all-out brawl.

The night ended with a huge brawl as SmackDown and NXT superstars invaded and decimated the main event tag match.

Lana filed for divorce and a restraining order against Rusev. If there is one thing that wrestling fans love, it’s legal proceedings.

Aleister Black has found someone to pick a fight with him: Buddy Murphy. These two in an extended series? Yes, please.

Also it is important to note that WWE had a lot of quality matches on the card on Monday. Of the three best ones, only one had a decisive finish (Murphy-Tozawa). Both Rollins-Andrade and Owens-McIntyre were frustrating non-finishes, which really takes away from how good the matches were.

Latest Wrestling News

AEW Bash at the Beach Announced

All Elite Wrestling is offering quite the experience for their fans. The company announced Bash at the Beach from Miami on January 15, 2020 (h/t WrestlingInc). It will be followed by the Chris Jericho Rock ’N’ Wrestling Cruise, launching from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas from January 20-24. An episode of AEW Dynamite will be filmed on the sold-out cruise, and will air on Wednesday, January 22.

New AEW Trademarks: Pay-Per-View & Match Name?

Another AEW pay-per-view name could have been leaked due to trademarks. AEW recently filed for the trademark “AEW Blood and Guts” (h/t Fightful). “Blood and Guts” was a phrase famously said by Vince McMahon on an earnings call in early 2019 in reference to the new AEW. The name is a good one for a product that has been edgier and bloodier than WWE’s current stuff.

Cody Rhodes also filed a trademark for “The Match Beyond”, which is another term for a War Games match. Cody’s father Dusty Rhodes invented the War Games match, but WWE owns the trademark.

One for the Road:

So much of wrestling’s weird content comes from Twitter now. What did we do before it?

Anyways, on Monday, CM Punk tagged AEW President Tony Khan in a tweet. Khan replied, so did Randy Orton, and it is a lot.
