The Wrestling Roundup is here to bring you all the news and rumors you need to know in one place.

WWE Raw Results:

The Survivor Series fallout show was Monday night, and it really did shake up the landscape of Raw. A new United States champion was crowned, and other matches that showcased some talent who needed a chance to shine. Here are the full results:

  • Bobby Lashley def. Titus O’Neil by disqualification when Rusev interferes
  • Authors of Pain def. Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins
  • Andrade “Cien” Almas def. Akira Tozawa
  • Buddy Murphy def. Matt Hardy
  • Rey Mysterio def. Ricochet, Randy Orton, and Drew McIntyre to earn a United States Championship match
  • Mysterio def. A.J. Styles (c) to win the United States Championship
  • Asuka def. Charlotte
  • Erick Rowan def. Local competitor
  • Kevin Owens def. Seth Rollins by disqualification when the Authors of Pain interfere

Raw Takeaways:

The show opened with Seth Rollins in the ring with the rest of the roster surrounding him. Rollins then started to crap on the roster. He called out Charlotte, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens. Owens stepped up to him and hit him with a stunner.

The main event of Rollins-Owens was interrupted by the Authors of Pain, who attacked Owens but not Rollins. Hopefully this means Rollins is embracing the heel side once again, a role that suits him well and fits with how his current character has been booked. With heavies like Akam and Rezar, Rollins could lead an amazing heel group.

Before the show, Rusev was hit with a restraining order. It took one match before Rusev disobeyed the restraining order. Consider me shocked. In one of the best segments of this weird feud, Rusev looked like a badass taking out Lashley. He knocked him off the stage and toppled scaffolding onto him.

Rey Mysterio is your United States champion! He beat Styles with an assist from Randy Orton. It opens up a whole set of new feuds. Orton-Styles, Mysterio-Andrade for the US Championship, and someone will have to be the next challenger to step to Brock Lesnar.
