The Wrestling Roundup is here to bring you all the news and rumors you need to know in one place.
Sandman’s Comments Draw Ire
One of the biggest stories of the weekend was a tweet from Jordynne Grace. At a WrestleCade show on Saturday, Sandman approached Grace with this opinion of women in the main event:
Hey remember that time The Sandman came up to four women about to main event to tell us that women main eventing is “wrong” and “any male wrestler with any sort of experience would agree”?
Was this in 1998?
No, it was tonight. December 2019.

Grace was in a four-way main event with Su Yung, Rosemary, & Taya Valkyrie. Many wrestlers tweeted support for Grace, calling Sandman out of touch.
Luke Harper Trademarks Old Indie Name
Will we soon see Brodie Lee takeover the independent scene? Luke Harper has trademarked his old independent name according to PWInsider (h/t Cultaholic). Harper requested his release from WWE back in April, but apparently had time tacked onto his contract due to missing time with an injury. After being out of action for a while, returned at Clash of Champions to assist Erick Rowan in his battles against Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan. Harper has scarcely been used since.
