The Wrestling Roundup is here to bring you all the news and rumors you need to know in one place.
NXT UK Results
A big triple threat was the standout match on this week’s episode of NXT UK. Joseph Connors finally proved that he is TakeOver worthy. The full results:
- Toni Storm def. Killer Kelly
- The Hunt def. The Outliers
- Jordan Devlin def. A-Kid
- Joseph Connors def. Travis Banks and Ligero
Ilja Dragunov and Gallus’ issues with WALTER and Imperium continued this week. Joey Coffey and WALTER tried to negotiate a settlement of the issues between their two groups. The resulting agreement includes Coffey challenging WALTER for the NXT UK Championship in Blackpool, an NXT UK Tag Title Match between Imperium & Gallus, and a No DQ match between Ilja Dragunov and Alexander Wolfe.
Dragunov got the worst of the main event segment, finding himself driven through a table by Imperium. The three matches set by the main event segment should fill out an excellent TakeOver Blackpool card.
#IMPERIUM just sent @UNBESIEGBAR_ZAR crashing through a table on #NXTUK!

Two New Women’s Signings For AEW
AEW continues to fill out their women’s roster with two more signings, according to WrestlingInc. One of the signings has been a popular name in the last few weeks for AEW: Kris Statlander. Statlander beat Hikaru Shida on this week’s episode of Dynamite. She was offered a spot in the Nightmare Collective by Brandi Rhodes, but declined.
The woman who did offer herself to the Nightmare Collective, Chicago indy wrestler Melanie Cruise, was also signed by AEW. According to reports, she should be making more appearances for the company going forward.
