A big factor in determining fantasy football production is touchdowns. Ths purpose of this article is to identify which players have the most chances at getting the football close to the end zone, and thus the best chances at scoring a touchdown. Here is Red Zone Report Week 14.
A Red Zone Opportunity is any rushing attempt or target that a player receives within 20 yards of an opponent’s end zone. Special attention will be paid to carries from inside the 5-yard line.
For the remainder of this article, the words Red Zone will be replaced with RZ.
AFC East
Buffalo Bills
Devin Singletary led the Bills in week 14 RZ opportunities with 2 carries and 1 target. Josh Allen and Frank Gore had 1 RZ rushing attempt each. The only difference was that Gore’s run came from inside the 5-yard line. Meanwhile, other RZ targets were split evenly between Cole Beasley, John Brown, Dawson Knox, and Isaiah McKenzie with 1 each.
Miami Dolphins
Patrick Laird led the Dolphins in RZ opportunities during week 14. He got 4 RZ carries and 1 RZ target. Myles Gaskin also figured in both the ground and air game in the RZ with 2 rushing attempts and 1 target. Mike Gesicki paced the team in RZ targets with 3, while Allen Hurns, and Albert Wilson each received 1.

New England Patriots
James White saw 2 RZ carries, including 1 from inside the 5-yard line, and 1 RZ target during week 14. Brandon Bolden had the Patriots only other RZ rushing attempt. As for RZ targets, Julian Edelman added 2 in this game, to get to a league-leading 23 RZ targets. Furthermore, N’Keal Harry, Matt LaCosse, and Jakobi Meyers got 1 RZ target apiece.
New York Jets
The Jets employed a balanced attack in the RZ during week 14. Bilal Powell received 2 RZ carries, while Ty Montgomery had 1. Meanwhile, Demaryius Thomas led the team with 2 RZ targets, as Jamison Crowder and Vyncint Smith saw 1 each.
AFC North
Baltimore Ravens
The RZ running work was split between Gus Edwards, Justice Hill, Mark Ingram, and Lamar Jackson. Edwards had 2 RZ carries while the other each got 1. For Ingram and Jackson, their attempts cam from inside the 5-yard line. As for RZ targets, they were split evenly between Mark Andrews, Nick Boyle and Willie Snead who each received 1.
Cincinnati Bengals
Joe Mixon had the majority of the Bengals week 14 RZ opportunities to himself. That consists of 6 RZ rushing attempts, including 2 from inside the 5-yard line, as well as 1 RZ target. Giovani Bernard and Andy Dalton each got 1 RZ carry. Dalton’s was from inside the 5-yard line while Bernard also received 1 RZ target. Other RZ targets were divided evenly between Tyler Boyd, Stanley Morgan, and C.J. Uzomah with 1 apiece.
Cleveland Browns

Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt had the majority of the Browns RZ opportunities in week 14. Chubb got 4 RZ rushing attempts, and Hunt received 1 RZ run and 2 RZ targets. David Njoku saw the team’s only other RZ target.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Jaylen Samuels and Benny Snell each had 1 RZ carry. The only difference was that Snell’s attempt came from inside the 5-yard line. Samuels did, however, get 1 RZ target. It was Diontae Johnson who led the Steelers in week 14 RZ targets with 3.
AFC South
Houston Texans

DeAndre Hopkins saw the majority of the Texans week 14 RZ opportunities with 1 carry and 3 targets. Carlos Hyde had the only other RZ rushing attempt, while Jordan Akins and Duke Johnson each got 1 RZ target.
Indianapolis Colts
Jacoby Brissett ran 1 time inside the RZ. Marlon Mack received 2 RZ carries, including 1 from inside the 5-yard line. Zach Pascal also had 2 RZ opportunities in week 14, but they were both targets. The remaining of the Colts RZ targets were split between Parris Campbell, Jack Doyle, and Marcus Johnson who saw 1 each.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Leonard Fournette had the majority of the Jaguars RZ opportunities in week 14 with 1 run and 1 target. Nick O’Leary got the only other RZ target.
Tennessee Titans
Derrick Henry was another player who received the majority of his team’s RZ opportunities during week 14. That includes 3 RZ rushing attempts and 1 RZ target. The Titans other RZ targets were split evenly between A.J. Brown, Anthony Firkser, and Jonnu Smith who each saw 1.
AFC West
Denver Broncos
Phillip Lindsay had 4 RZ carries, including 1 from inside the 5-yard line. He also got 1 RZ target. Royce Freeman received both of the other RZ rushing attempts in week 14. Courtland Sutton led the Broncos in RZ targets with 3, while Tim Patrick saw 2. The remaining RZ targets were divided evenly between Devontae Booker, Noah Fant, DaeSean Hamilton, and Jeff Heuerman who got 1 apiece.
Kansas City Chiefs
LeSean McCoy had the Chiefs only RZ carry during week 14, and it came from inside the 5-yard line. Meanwhile, the team’s RZ targets were split evenly between Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, Darwin Thompson, and Spencer Ware with 1 each.
Los Angeles Chargers
Melvin Gordon got half of the Chargers week 14 RZ opportunities. He received 3 RZ rushing attempts, including 2 from inside the 5-yard line. Gordon also saw 1 RZ target. The team’s only other RZ carries came courtesy of Derek Watt who a 2 RZ runs, including 1 from inside the 5-yard line. Keenan Allen and Virgil Green each had 1 RZ target in week 14.
Oakland Raiders
DeAndre Washington got the majority of the Raiders RZ opportunities during week 14. Washington received 3 RZ rushing attempts, including 2 runs from inside the 5-yard line. Alec Ingold also saw 1 RZ carry inside the 5. The team’s RZ targets were divided evenly as Foster Moreau and Darren Waller had 1 apiece.

Dallas Cowboys
It was a run-heavy approach for the Cowboys in the RZ during week 14. Ezekiel Elliott had 6 RZ rushing attempts, including 4 from inside the 5-yard line. Dak Prescott also got 2 RZ carries, but only 1 of them was from inside the 5. Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup each received 1 RZ target.
New York Giants
Saquon Barkley saw the Giants’ only RZ rushing attempt during week 14. As for RZ targets, Sterling Shepard got 2, while Golden Tate received 1.

Philadelphia Eagles
Miles Sanders and Boston Scott both had 4 RZ opportunities in week 14. Scott saw all his chances on the ground, including 1 from inside the 5-yard line. Sanders, meanwhile, got 3 RZ carries, with 1 from inside the 5, and 1 RZ target. However, it was Greg Ward who led the Eagles in that regard with 3 RZ targets during week 14. Zach Ertz received 2 RZ targets while 1 went to J.J. Arcega-Whiteside.
Washington
Adrian Peterson saw the team’s only RZ rushing attempts in week 14, and it came from inside the 5-yard line. Meanwhile, Terry McLaurin and Chris Thompson had 1 RZ target apiece.
NFC North
Chicago Bears
David Montgomery got the Bears only RZ carry during week 14. With a pass-heavy RZ approach, Allen Robinson led the team in RZ targets with 3, while Javon Wims received 2. The remaining RZ targets went to Tarik Cohen and Anthony Miller with 1 each.
Detroit Lions
The Lions did not run the football during week 14. Instead, Danny Amendola led the way with 2 RZ targets, while Kenny Golladay, J.D. McKissic and Logan Thomas each saw 1.
Green Bay Packers
Aaron Jones had 2 RZ rushing attempts, including 1 run from inside the 5-yard line. He also got 1 RZ target. His backfield mate Jamaal Williams also received 2 RZ carries. The Packers remaining RZ targets were evenly split between Davante Adams, Jace Sternberger, and Robert Tonyan who had 1 apiece.
Minnesota Vikings
Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison both received 2 RZ rushing attempts, including 1 each from inside the 5-yard line. C.J. Ham also saw 1 carry inside the 5-yard line. The Vikings threw only 1 pass in the RZ and it went to Irv Smith.
NFC South
Atlanta Falcons
Devonta Freeman had 4 RZ rushing attempts during week 14, but it was Brian Hill who got the Falcons only run from inside the 5-yard line. The team’s RZ targets were divided evenly between Russell Gage, Austin Hooper, and Calvin Ridley with 1 each.
Carolina Panthers
During Week 14, Christian McCaffrey had more than double the amount of RZ opportunities than his teammates combined. McCaffrey received 2 RZ carries and 2 RZ targets. Kyle Allen saw the only other RZ rushing attempt for the Panthers. As for the other RZ targets, Ian Thomas and Jarius Wright each had 1.
New Orleans Saints
Alvin Kamara led the Saints in week 14 RZ opportunities with 2 carries from inside the 5-yard line, as well as 2 RZ targets. Drew Brees, Taysom Hill, and Latavius Murray each got 1 RZ rushing attempt, but with Brees being the only one to run inside the 5-yard line. Josh Hill led the team in RZ targets with 2, while Ted Ginn, Tre’Quan Smith, and Michael Thomas received 1 apiece.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Peyton Barber and Jameis Winston each saw 1 RZ carry, only Winston’s attempt came from inside the 5-yard line. As for RZ targets, Justin Watson held the team lead in week 14 with 3. Meanwhile, Cameron Brate, Dare Ogunbowale, and Breshad Perriman each had 2 RZ targets, while O.J. Howard only got 1.
NFC West
Arizona Cardinals
Kenyan Drake and Kyler Murray each got 2 RZ rushing attempts during week 14 and both had 1 run inside the 5-yard line. Christian Kirk paced all Cardinals players in week 14 RZ targets with 3. Larry Fitzgerald followed with 2, while Charles Clay and Chase Edmonds each received 1 RZ target.
Los Angeles Rams

Todd Gurley led the team in week 14 RZ opportunities, and all 6 of his touches came on the ground. He even saw 1 carry from inside the 5-yard line. Malcolm Brown and Robert Woods each had 1 RZ rushing attempt. Brown’s run came from inside the 5, while Woods also added 1 RZ target in the game. However, it was Tyler Higbee who paced the Rams in RZ targets with 4. Cooper Kupp received the only other RZ opportunities for the team; 2 RZ targets.
San Francisco 49ers
Raheem Mostert saw 2 RZ carries, while Deebo Samuel had 1. Samuel also got 2 RZ targets, which equaled the 49ers week 14 lead alongside Kendrick Bourne and Kyle Juszczyk. George Kittle received the only other RZ target for the team.
Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks did not run al all in the RZ during week 14. Instead, Jacob Hollister led the way with 2 RZ targets, while Malik Turner saw 1.
