NXT & AEW Ratings: Tied This Week
You read that headline correctly: this week AEW and NXT tied in the ratings. Both shows pulled 778,000 viewers.
AEW: 778,000
NXT: 778,000— Bryan Alvarez (@bryanalvarez) December 12, 2019
The split in demographics remain the same, with NXT pulling the over-50 crowd and AEW winning the 18-49 demographic. It is a combined lower number watching Wednesday wrestling than last week, but still an interesting results nonetheless. Best take on all of it goes to Joey Janela:
It looks like there was a tie in the ratings this week, but demos say that when I appeared “everyone got horny” so @AEWrestling wins again! https://t.co/qxptDbLph6

NXT At Wrestlemania?
According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, NXT will have a presence at Wrestlemania 36 in Tampa Bay:
Heard from a well placed source, as of now, NXT will have a role at WrestleMania. Not talking about TakeOver, but on the actual Mania card. No details as to who or what, but an NXT presence will be felt at Raymond James Stadium.

Now is our time to speculate on what the match could be. Would it be an NXT star challenging a main roster talent, like Shayna Baszler facing Becky Lynch? Or maybe it is an NXT Championship match, like Adam Cole versus Velveteen Dream? Fantasy book to your heart’s desire.
