The Wrestling Roundup is here to bring you all the news and rumors you need to know in one place.

WWE Raw Results

This week is a special circumstance for Raw, with two episodes being taped in the same night. One for broadcast last night, and another for next week. We’ll have the results from Monday night and some analysis, plus the spoilers right below that. First, the results from last night:

  • The O.C. def. Viking Raiders
  • Erick Rowan def. Local competitor
  • A gauntlet match for a future United States Championship opportunity goes to a no contest
    • Akira Tozawa def. R-Truth
    • Ricochet def. Akira Tozawa, followed byMatt Hardy
    • Humberto Carillo def. Ricochet
    • Andrade & Humberto Carillo go to a no-contest
  • Asuka def. Deonna Purrazzo
  • Randy Orton def. A.J. Styles

Raw Takeaways This Week:

Heel Seth is back in full force. He had a great opening promo this week about how he is leading Raw into the next decade whether we like it or not. If it is more insufferable heel Seth putting over some babyfaces and giving AOP the rub, we like it a lot.

Rollins made his presence felt by getting revenge on Rey Mysterio for giving Kevin Owens the pipe last week. It’s a little unfortunate that we get so excited whenever WWE remembers a detail from a story from week to week, but this got me excited. Rollins should be upset, so vengeance makes sense.

Liv Morgan continues to get vignettes for her debut, and they continue to look suspiciously like Emmaline vignettes. Let’s hope she can make more of it than Emma did.

Lana told Bobby Lashley to propose. So he did. Oh, the humanity.

WWE Raw Spoilers Next Week

As mentioned up top, Raw taped another episode for next week. Here are the spoilers from that show (h/t WrestlingInc).

  • Kevin Owens def. Mojo Rawley in a Christmas Street Fight
  • Bobby Lashley def. Cedric Alexander – during the match, Lana announced that her and Lashley’s wedding will be next week.
  • Drew McIntyre def. Curt Hawkins
  • Ricochet def. Tony Nese
  • Aleister Black def. Enhancement talent
  • Buddy Murphy def. Enhancement talent – Murphy and Black squared off after this, and their TLC rematch will be the next week.
  • Charlotte def. Chelsea Green
  • The O.C. def. Randy Orton & The Viking Raiders
  • Erick Rowan def. Enhancement talent
  • Rusev def. No Way Jose
  • Rey Mysterio (c) def. Seth Rollins by disqualification to retain the United States Championship. AOP interfered, and after they tried to put Mysterio through the announce table. Samoa Joe wouldn’t move for them, and was beaten down by AOP and Rollins as well.

Kofi Kingston Re-signs With WWE

One-third of the New Day has re-upped with WWE, bay-bee (h/t r/SquaredCircle). Kofi Kingston revealed that he “recently” re-signed with WWE on a five-year deal. That would seemingly keep Kingston in WWE until near the end of 2024. This means more years of gyrating, pancake tossing, podcasting, and tag team title reigns.
