A big factor in determining fantasy football production is touchdowns. Ths purpose of this article is to identify which players have the most chances at getting the football close to the end zone, and thus the best chances at scoring a touchdown. Here is Red Zone Report Week 15.

A Red Zone Opportunity is any rushing attempt or target that a player receives within 20 yards of an opponent’s end zone. Special attention will be paid to carries from inside the 5-yard line.

For the remainder of this article, the words Red Zone will be replaced with RZ.

AFC East

Buffalo Bills

Frank Gore and Devin Singletary bot had 4 RZ carries during week 15. Josh Allen got 2 RZ rushing attempts, including 1 from inside the 5-yard line. Meanwhile, John Brown and Tyler Kroft both received 1 RZ target.

Miami Dolphins

Myles Gaskin and Patrick Laird each saw 1 RZ carry, but Laird also had 1 RZ target. However, it was DeVante Parker who led the team in week 15 with 2 RZ targets. Otherwise, Isaiah Ford, Allen Hurns, and Albert Wilson got the remaining RZ targets, with 1 each.

New England Patriots

The Patriots only threw the football in the RZ during week 15. The RZ targets were evenly divided between N’Keal Harry, Sony Michel, and Mohamed Sanu with 1 apiece.

New York Jets

Le’Veon Bell received 3 RZ rushing attempts and 1 RZ target in week 15. Jamison Crowder led the Jets with 3 RZ targets while Robby Anderson and Vyncint Smith each had 1.

AFC North

Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson got the Ravens only RZ carry during week 15. As for RZ targets, Mark Andrews led the team with 3, while Miles Boykin and Mark Ingram received 1 each.

Cincinnati Bengals

Giovani Bernard and Joe Mixon both saw 2 RZ rushing attempts during week 15. Meanwhile, Cethan Carter and Alex Erickson each had 1 RZ target apiece.

Cleveland Browns

Nick Chubb got the Browns only RZ carry during week 15, and it came from inside the 5-yard line. Meanwhile, both Odell Beckham and Ricky Seals-Jones led the team in RZ targets with 3. The rest were given to Jarvis Landry with 2 and KhaDarel Hodge with 1.

Pittsburgh Steelers

James Conner‘s RZ target was the Steelers only RZ opportunity during week 15.

AFC South

Houston Texans

Carlos Hyde saw 6 RZ rushing attempts in week 15, including 1 from inside the 5-yard line. Otherwise, Kenny Stills had both of the Texans’ RZ targets.

Indianapolis Colts

Jordan Wilkins got both of the Colts Week 15 RZ carries, including 1 run from inside the 5-yard line. Jack Doyle received the team’s only RZ target.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Ryquell Armstead and Leonard Fournette both saw 1 RZ rushing attempt, but Fournette also had 2 RZ targets. However, it was Chris Conley who led the team with 4 RZ targets. Keelan Cole got the only other RZ target for the Jaguars.

Tennessee Titans

Derrick Henry received 5 RZ carries, including 2 runs from inside the 5-yard line. Dion Lewis and Ryan Tannehill both saw 1 RZ rushing attempt. The only differences were that Tannehill’s run came inside the 5-yard line, while Lewis also had 1 RZ target. However, he still fell behind A.J. Brown who led the Titans with 2 RZ targets. The remaining RZ targets were evenly split between Khari Blasingame, Corey Davis, Anthony Firkser, and Kalif Raymond with 1 each.

AFC West

Denver Broncos

Royce Freeman and Phillip Lindsay each had 1 RZ carry during week 15. Freeman also got 1 RZ target, which tied for the Broncos lead alongside Andrew Beck, DaeSean Hamilton, and Courtland Sutton.

Kansas City Chiefs

Darwin Thompson received 2 RZ rushing attempts while Spencer Ware saw 1. Ware also tied for the Chiefs lead in RZ targets with 1. Ware equaled Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, and Demarcus Robinson in that regard.

Los Angeles Chargers

Melvin Gordon and Justin Jackson both had 1 RZ carry in week 15. Gordon’s attempt came from inside the 5-yard line, and he also got 1 RZ target. It was Mike Williams who led the Chargers in RZ targets with 2, while Keenan Allen received 1.

Oakland Raiders

Josh Jacobs had 2 RZ rushing attempts in week 15, while DeAndre Washington got 1. As for RZ targets, they were evenly split between Derek Carrier, Jalen Richard, and Darren Waller received 1 apiece.

NFC East

Dallas Cowboys

Ezekiel Elliott saw the majority of the Cowboys RZ opportunities with 7 in week 15. That includes 5 RZ carries, with 2 of those coming inside the 5-yard line. Elliott also led the team in RZ targets with 2. The remaining RZ targets were divided between Randall Cobb, Michael Gallup and Jason Witten with 1 each. Furthermore, Tavon Austin and Dak Prescott both ran the ball 1 time inside the RZ.

New York Giants

Saquon Barkley had 3 RZ carries, while Javorious Allen got 2. Both players each received 1 of those touches inside the 5-yard line. Darius Slayton had the Giants only RZ target during week 15.

Philadelphia Eagles

Miles Sanders saw 4 RZ rushing attempts, including 1 from inside the 5-yard line. Boston Scott had the both team’s other RZ carries. Sanders also got 1 RZ target but was behind team leaders Zach Ertz and Greg Ward who received 3 each. Both J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Dallas Goedert saw 1 RZ target each.

NBC Sports
Washington

Adrian Peterson had the majority of the team’s RZ opportunities. 3 RZ rushing attempts to be exact. Meanwhile, Kelvin Harmon and Steven Sims each got 1 RZ target during week 15.

NFC North

Chicago Bears

Tarik Cohen and David Montgomery both received 2 RZ carries during week 15. The only difference was that Montgomery ran once from inside the 5-yard line. The Bears 4 RZ targets were divided equally between Allen Robinson, Jesper Horsted, Anthony Miller, and Cordarrelle Patterson.

Detroit Lions

The Lions only threw the football in the RZ during week 15. Danny Amendola, Kenny Golladay, and Isaac Nauta saw 1 RZ target apiece.

Green Bay Packers

Aaron Jones had the Packers’ only RZ rushing attempt of week 15, and it came from inside the 5-yard line. Furthermore, Davante Adams got the team’s only RZ target.

Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings did not run the football in the RZ during week 15. Instead, the team’s 4 RZ targets were split evenly between Dalvin Cook, C.J. Ham, Kyle Rudolph, and Irv Smith.

NFC South

Atlanta Falcons

Devonta Freeman and Qadree Ollison both received 1 RZ carry. Ollison’s attempt came from inside the 5-yard line, while Freeman added 1 RZ target. 4 of the Falcons’ remaining RZ targets went to Julio Jones, while Austin Hooper saw 3.

Carolina Panthers

Both Christian McCaffrey and Curtis Samuel had 4 RZ opportunities during week 15. McCaffrey got 3 carries and 1 target, while Samuel had the opposite, 3 targets and 1 carry. Each player also ran the football 1 time inside the 5-yard line.

New Orleans Saints

Alvin Kamara and Latavius Murray each received 1 RZ rushing attempt. Kamara also saw 1 RZ target. Michael Thomas led the Saints in RZ targets with 3 while Josh Hill, Taysom Hill and Tre’Quan Smith got 1 each.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Ronald Jones‘ RZ carry was the Buccaneers only RZ opportunity during week 15.

NFC West

Arizona Cardinals

Kenyan Drake led the NFL during week 15 with  7 RZ rushing attempts, 3 of which came from inside the 5-yard line. Kyler Murray had the only other Cardinal’s RZ run. He also threw 4 passes in the RZ and targeted 4 players evenly: Dan Arnold, Charles Clay, Larry Fitzgerald, and Christian Kirk.

Los Angeles Rams

Jared Goff and Todd Gurley both got 2 RZ carries each, with one of Goff’s runs coming from inside the 5-yard line. Gurley also received 1 RZ target, which tied him for the Rams’ Week 15 lead alongside Brandin Cooks, Tyler Higbee, and Cooper Kupp.

San Francisco 49ers

Raheem Mostert was the only 49ers players to see multiple RZ rushing attempts during week 15 with 2. The remaining RZ carries went to Tevin Coleman, Jimmy Garoppolo, and Kyle Juszczyk. Of those players, Coleman, Juszczyk, and Mostert each had 1 run from inside the 5-yard line. Juszczyk also got 1 RZ target but was behind George Kittle in that category as the tight end saw 4.

Seattle Seahawks

Chris Carson received 3 RZ rushing attempts during week 15 to lead the Seahawks in that category. Travis Homer had 2, while C.J. Prosise procured 1. As for RZ targets, Tyler Lockett paced the team with 4 while George Fant, D.K. Metcalf, and Malik Turner saw 1 each.
