Wrestle Kingdom 14 Night Two Results

New Japan’s two-night Wrestle Kingdom event wrapped up on Saturday night and it was a great show. A stream crash occurred and cut the stream for a little, but managed to not miss any of the action. Jushin Thunder Liger wrestled his final match, and NJPW has a new double champion. The results from Wrestle Kingdom 14 Night Two:

  • Hiromu Takahashi & Ryu Lee def. Jushin Thunder Liger & Naoki Soto Hiromu Takahashi & Ryu Lee
  • Roppongi 3K def. Taiji Ishimori & El Phantasmo (c)to win the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championships
  • Zack Sabre Jr. (c) def Sanada to retain the RPW British Heavyweight Championship
  • Jon Moxley (c) def. Juice Robinson to retain the IWGP United States Championship
  • Hirooki Goto def. KENTA (c) to win the NEVER Openweight Championship
  • Jay White def. Kota Ibushi
  • Chris Jericho def. Hiroshi Tanahashi
  • Tetsuya Naito (c) def. Kazuchika Okada (c) to retain the IWGP Intercontinental Championship and win the IWGP Championship

Chris Jericho Wants New Japan To Work With AEW

In his post-Wrestle Kingdom presser, Jericho talked about the need for AEW nad NJPW to work together. Jericho mentioned how it would make it easier for New Japan to break into American markets. I, for one, agree with Le Champion.

First Two Dusty Rhodes Classic Matches Announced

This week’s NXT will have the first two matches in the Dusty Rhodes Classic. NXT announced on Twitter that Forgotten Sons versus Imperium and Gallus vs Undisputed Era will be the first two matches.
