Asuka Escapes Las Vegas Fashion Mall Shooting

On Tuesday night, a shooting occurred at the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas. Three people were injured during the shooting. WWE Superstar Asuka posted on Twitter about how she escaped and was protected by the GUESS store in the mall (h/t WrestlingInc).

NWA Powerrr Results

With NWA’s Hard Times pay-per-view on Friday, NWA had a special 90 minute episode of Powerrr. More NWA TV Title qualifying matches were on the show, and an NWA Championship defense. The full results are below:

  • Thunder Rosa def. Tasha Steelz
  • Trevor Murdoch def. Thomas Latimer in an NWA TV Title qualifying match
  • Allysin Kay def. Marti Belle in a No DQ match
  • Ken Anderson wins an eight-man gauntlet match to qualify for the NWA TV Title tournament
  • Nick Aldis (c) def. Ricky Morton to retain the NWA Championship

AEW Title Change On Dynamite:

Spoilers for Dynamite on Wednesday, so read at your own risk. AEW taped matches on Tuesday for Dynamite, and one of them had Adam Page & Kenny Omega win the AEW Tag Team Championships from SCU (h/t Fightful). SCU were the first AEW Tag Team Champions, making this the first title change in company history. According to the report, Omega celebrated with the Young Bucks, but Page celebrated with the fans. How this will develop, and who will get the next crack at the titles, will be interesting to see.

United States Championship Match Added to Royal Rumble

Andrade has his next challenger: Humberto Carillo. WWE announced the title match between Andrade & Carillo in a WWE Now video on their Youtube page (h/t WrestlingInc). Carillo saved Rey Mysterio from a beatdown on Raw after Mysterio challenged Andrade for the title.
