It’s the time for us to predict the best event in the WWE calendar. The Royal Rumble pay-per-view is always full of surprises and excellent matches. We are officially on the Road to Wrestlemania, so who will find their way to the main event? Javier, Kaden, & Evan are back to predict the 2020 Royal Rumble.

Sheamus vs Shorty G
Evan: Tall S beats Short G.
Pick – Sheamus
Javier: It’s his return match. He’s not losing. I expect these two to have a terrific match together and I’m very much looking forward to it.
Pick – Sheamus
Kaden: How does Sheamus not blow the head of the bad “Shorty G” gimmick?
Pick – Sheamus

Roman Reigns vs King Corbin – Falls Count Anywhere Match
Evan: I don’t know if this feud or the Lashley-Rusev-Lana-Liv feud is the most infuriating right now. Both need to end, so let’s say that Reigns gets the win and moves on to his Wrestlemania storyline after this.
Pick – Roman Reigns
Javier: End this feud. Roman is winning this match and winning the Elimination Chamber to then go challenge the Fiend. This is the way.
Pick – Roman Reigns
Kaden: Corbin will win here. Knowing how Vince thinks, he’ll have Roman lose to build sympathy and then do something a little later.
Pick – King Corbin

Andrade (c) vs Humberto Carrillo – WWE United States Championship
Evan: The match really doesn’t have a ton of build. It seems to be primed to be a bit of a disappointment after the excellent Mysterio-Andrade matches. I expect Zelina Vega to get involved and for Andrade to retain.
Pick – Andrade
Javier: I really like both of these guys and it pains me to have to choose. That’s why I won’t. Andrade wins due to DQ or something along those lines and I get to push back my prediction on this.
Pick – Andrade
Kaden: I like Humberto but Andrade is winning this match.
Pick – Andrade

Bayley (c) vs Lacey Evans – WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
Evan: Bayley’s reign so far has been much better than I expected. She has fully embraced being hated, and I think she’ll continue to rule over SmackDown.
Pick – Bayley
Javier: Sasha interference. This is the way. I really like the story being told here if I’m being honest. Bayley was the girl that little girls loved. Now, she’s the woman that is hated and jeers children. Lacey is still… unstable… in the ring, so I wouldn’t expect a masterpiece.
Pick – Bayley
Kaden: Lacey Evans will win her first championship in Houston. It seems like she’s over and it is the only belt I think could change hands at the Rumble.
Pick – Lacey Evans

The Fiend (c) vs Daniel Bryan – WWE Universal Championship Strap Match
Evan: I’m extremely tempted to take Daniel Bryan here. He has looked great in the build-up, but The Fiend has been portrayed as invincible. Fiend continues his reign.
Pick – The Fiend
Javier: I’m sorry, but this is just easy. Daniel Bryan should lose this match and Daniel Bryan will lose this match. The Fiend will be champion come Wrestlemania and Bryan is not the one that he will be feuding with at that time. This is the way.
Pick – The Fiend
Kaden: Fiend takes this. I don’t see Bray Wyatt losing the belt for Wrestlemania.
Pick – The Fiend

Becky Lynch (c) vs Asuka – WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Evan: The story WWE is telling with Becky Lynch involves her getting vengeance on Asuka here. It will be another excellent match, but Lynch retains to move on to Wrestlemania.
Pick – Becky Lynch
Javier: “Ronnie, I told you I’d find my way back to you.” Becky is retaining because she has bigger things in her future. This feud has made Asuka look like a million bucks and she’ll be fine with the loss. Lynch, however, moves on to a singles match with Ronda Rousey at Mania. This is the way.
Pick – Becky Lynch
Kaden: Lynch will collect her debt and continue her streak as champion until at least mania.
Pick – Becky Lynch

Women’s Royal Rumble Match
Evan: You know who could be the first iron woman winner of the Royal Rumble? Sasha Banks. She has been embroiled as the second in Bayley & Lacey Evans feud, but with a win she could move to Raw to challenge Becky Lynch for Wrestlemania
Pick – Sasha Banks
Javier: Rousey is going to come out at No. 30 and win the whole damn thing. Her and Lynch are still destined for a singles match and Mania is the perfect place for it.
Pick – Ronda Rousey
Kaden: In the immortal words of Kevin Scampoli, “SHAYNA BAZLAAAAAAAA”. The member of the four horsewomen will win the rumble and challenge Becky for the title… and then Ronda comes back.
Pick – Shayna Baszler

Men’s Royal Rumble Match:
Evan: It may be a left-field pick, but I think it’s time for a true surprise winner. With that said, it’s time for Samoa Joe to win the Royal Rumble match. He can be the one to dethrone Brock Lesnar and be the new beast of the main event scene.
Pick – Samoa Joe
Javier: McIntyre should undoubtedly be the man to win this match. He’s been built up highly over the past couple of months and he’s starting to slip a bit into a more baby face role. Him dumping out Brock Lesner and then facing him for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania – this is the way.
Pick – Drew McIntyre
Kaden: Roman Reigns will win the Men’s rumble. I don’t want him to but he will. UGH.
Pick – Roman Reigns
