New Japan Books Madison Square Garden

The biggest promotion in Japan is coming to one of the most famous arenas in America. New Japan has announced Wrestle Dynasty for August 22, 2020 at Madison Square Garden (h/t CagesideSeats). According to reports, Wrestle Dynasty is to be the Summerslam to Wrestle Kingdom’s Wrestlemania. The show will be going head to head with an NXT TakeOver on that same Saturday night.

ROH Free Enterprise Results & Shane Taylor Update

At Free Enterprise, Shane Taylor announced that he has signed a new deal with ROH. When announcing it to the crowd, Taylor played up the perks of his deal. These include a the highest per-fight payment, and guaranteed ROH Six-Man Tag Championship & ROH World Championship opportunities.

wXw 16 Carat Gold Participants Finalized

A WWE star and an ROH star round out the participants in the annual wXw 16 Carat Gold Tournament. wXw announced their last few names for the tournament that takes place in early March. WWE star Lio Rush will be in the field, as announced by wXw on Twitter.

wXw also announced ROH’s Bandido as one of the participants. The single elimination tournament has produced winners such as Ilja Dragunov, Chris Hero, Zack Sabre Jr., Sami Zayn, & Aleister Black.
