The Wrestling Roundup is here to bring you all the news and rumors you need to know in one place.
Wrestlemania Plans Changing?
We are just under six weeks away from Wrestlemania, and some of the biggest matches of the card may still be changing. The original plans included Elias versus John Cena, and Roman Reigns challenging The Fiend for the Universal Championship. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, those are now changing (h/t WrestlingInc).
Now in the plans include Goldberg versus Roman Reigns, and John Cena facing The Fiend. Either of these could be for the Universal Championship, depending on how the match between Fiend & Goldberg goes on Thursday. Those matchups have a bit more star power with Goldberg replacing Elias, but are they better matches?
Revival Make More Trademarks
Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder appear to be preparing for life after WWE. Fightful reported that The Revival trademarked “Say Yeah”, “No Flips, Just Fists”, and “Top Guys” under their real names. It has been rumored recently that Dawson & Wilder are leaving WWE once their contracts are up. They recently turned down offers of $700,000 a year, so it seems the two are out the door and on to greener pastures soon.
Sareee Signs With WWE
WWE continues to sign outside talent and add to their stable of stars. Japanese wrestling star Sareee announced that she has signed with WWE (h/t WrestlingInc). First reported by SquaredCircleSirens, Sareee is known for her work in World Women’s Pro Wrestling Diana. Sareee started her career at 15 years old, and is still only 23. She is an exciting prospect to add to WWE’s ever-improving women’s division.
