The Wrestling Roundup is here to bring you all the news and rumors you need to know in one place.

AEW Dynamite Results & Takeaways

Two huge debuts highlighted an amazing episode of Dynamite this week. Even without fans, this was one of the best episodes of Dynamite we could have hoped for. AEW had wrestlers and personalities in the crowd around the ring, which added to the atmosphere. Here are the full results from Wednesday’s Dynamite:

  • Lucha Brothers def. Best Friends
  • Hikaru Shida def. Penelope Ford, Kris Statlander & Riho
  • Jurassic Express def. Butcher & The Blade
  • Inner Circle (Jake Hager, Ortiz & Santana) def. Elite (Cody Rhodes, Matt Jackson & Adam Page)

Debut number one on the night was the reveal of The Exalted One. He was introduced by Evil Uno and was there in person. It was the one and only Brodie Lee, f.k.a. Luke Harper. He appeared and helped lay out SCU alongside his Dark Order. This has given the stable a new purpose, and I can’t wait to see how it develops.

The second debut closed the night. After our closing tag, a drone made it’s way into the ring. Matt Jackson announced that he had called in a friend. That is when we were treated to the debut of AEW’s Broken Matt Hardy. WONDERFUL!

Wrestlemania Moving To Two Nights, Multiple Locations?

The changes to Wrestlemania continue to mount. WWE announced on Wednesday that Wrestlemania will now be a two night event. Night one will run Saturday, April 4th and night two is Sunday, April 5th. Both are scheduled for 7 pm, and will be hosted by WWE’s newest signee – ex-NFL Tight End Rob Gronkowski.

WWE may also move the event to multiple locations according to reports (h/t CagesideSeats). The potential sites include Titan Towers, the new WWE Headquarters in Stamford, and in a 3D suite at the Performance Center that would allow them to project a 360 degree computer generated image around the match.” WWE is taking lots of precautions to ensure they follow CDC guidelines, and this would be another one of those ways.

With the move to a two-night Wrestlemania, we tried our hand at booking the event. Take a look at our card here.
