Two WWE Superstars Quarantined

WWE has had to make some changes to the Wrestlemania 36 card due to some wrestlers entering quarantine. Wrestling Observer Radio reported that Rey Mysterio and Dana Brooke are both currently in quarantine (h/t WrestlingInc). Both wrestlers are currently in quarantine, with Brooke reportedly feeling sick and therefore staying in quarantine.

Dana Brooke was scheduled for the SmackDown Women’s Championship six-pack challenge match at Wrestlemania. That match has now been changed to a five woman elimination match with the other participants. Mysterio was apparently booked for a four-way United States Championship match against Andrade, Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo. That match has been scrapped entirely, with Garza & Andrade now facing the Street Profits for the Raw Tag Team Championships

NXT Airing TakeOver Episodes Starting Next Week

With Wrestlemania now expanding to two nights, NXT TakeOver: Tampa had to be cancelled. Now WWE will air the matches they were building towards for the event will take place on NXT starting April 1st. The matches themselves haven’t been clarified, with the exception of the #1 Contenders Ladder Match for the Women’s Championship. Triple H will appear on NXT this week and will likely help set up some more matches.

Impact Wrestling Results

There was still some pre-recorded wrestling for us to enjoy on Tuesday night. Impact’s latest episode included an X-Division #1 Contender’s Scramble match and a mixed tag main event. Full results are below for Impact Wrestling:

  • Willie Mack def. Chris Bey, Acey Romero, DAGA, Rohit Raju, Jake Crist, Trey, & Cousin Jake to become the X-Division #1 Contender
  • Moose def. Chase Stevens

  • Su Yung & Havok both are trapped in the Undead Realm after their match
  • Michael Elgin & Taya Valkyrie def. Tessa Blanchard & Eddie Edwards

One for the Road:

The Big Show Show has it’s trailer, and honestly it looks decent. For a show aimed at younger kids, it looks like it could be a lot of fun. Also, Steve Urkel!
