I love these. That was my first thought after I finished watching the Buccaneers release video. I watched it another four times, taking in every detail and flashing back to watching uniforms like these on Sundays as a kid. Guys like Warren Sapp and John Lynch flashed through my mind as new Buccaneer legends-to-be Lavonte David, Chris Godwin, and Devin White strutted the new threads across my screen.
Here they are!

The awful uniforms of the last five seasons are finally gone and the Tom Brady era can begin with some fresh new uniforms, well old uniforms? All jokes aside the Buccaneers and Nike hit this one out of the park. The re-design brings the Bucs back to the super bowl era with a few modern twists.

The simple re-design brings back jerseys that take you back to the 2003 Super Bowl team. Everything about these new kits shows that the Bucs have heard fans over the last few seasons and this change reflects that. Top to bottom these are great.
The dark red jersey and pewter pants are simple and elegant. The exact opposite of the recent jerseys with the brown pewter shoulders and garish alarm clock numbers. The all-white kit and almost velvet red numbers will shine in the Tampa sun. The all pewter “Color Rush” is the alternate fans have been calling for since the league introduced the program in the 2016 season. The helmet goes back to the original pewter instead of the silver of recent years and the beloved oversized logo darkening to match the jersey. The black facemask replacing its chrome counterpart is the only complaint I can find with these new kits.

In the coming weeks, number 12 Tom Brady jerseys will start popping up in malls and Bucs fans will proudly represent the pewter, red and white. My only question is which jersey will you buy first? Sound off in the comments and tell us how you feel about the re-design and upcoming season.

As a Tom Brady lover I’m definitely getting the pewter Brady jersey.
