With the 100th pick, the Las Vegas Raiders selected Tanner Muse, safety from Clemson. Muse ends a wild and fastpaced Day Two. Muse, according to some may have reached. Yet, the Raiders needed a rangy safety with ball skills to patrol the deep third.
While Muse never rocketed up draft boards, he remained on Mike Mayock’s radar. Muse’s ability to run, cover everything from the slot to outside or backs brings versatility to the fold. Muse may not start, but his knack for finding the ball will earn his snaps immediately.
