The Chicago Bears released their 2020 schedule. Here is the complete list.
Despite the pandemic going on, we’re moving a step closer to the 2020 season. The Chicago Bears and the rest of the NFL released the season schedule.
Below you’ll see the entire schedule for the season.
Here are some key matchups. The season opens up with the Bears going to Detroit to face their NFC North rivals, the Lions. Their home opener comes in Week 2 when they face the New York Giants. In Week 5, they face the new-look Tampa Bay Buccaneers with Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski back together but in a different uniform.
Interestingly, despite only going 8-8 in 2019, the Bears have four primetime appearances (the maximum is five). The Tampa game in Week 5 is a Thursday night matchup. Then they have a Monday night matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, another Mondy night game against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 10, and a Sunday night game against the hated Green Bay Packers in Week 12.
None of the Bears’ first seven games are against teams that made the playoffs in 2019. That’s the good news. The bad news is that seven of their final nine games are against teams who did make the playoffs in 2019. Also, five of their final seven games are against division rivals. They face the Vikings in Week 10, the Packers in Week 12, the Lions in Week 13, the Vikings in Week 15, and finish out the season against the Packers in Week 17.
