The NFL released all 32 teams’ schedules for the 2020 season on Thursday night.

Dolphins Garner National Game in Week Three

The Miami Dolphins were given one prime time slot, per NFL rule, that will see them visit the Jacksonville Jaguars for Thursday Night Football on September 24. They also have a chance for another, on Saturday Night Football in December, when they play away at Las Vegas. The NFL has not yet finalized whether Miami will appear in prime time or play the next day on Sunday.

Miami to Open Season How it Ended 2019

Miami has a chance to make it literal back-to-back wins in Foxborough as it opens the season away at New England. The Dolphins beat the Patriots in the teams’ regular season finale in that stadium for the first time since 2008 last season.

Dolphins Face Six West Coast Teams in a Row

After playing on TNF, Miami will see six west coast teams in a row for weeks four-nine. The Dolphins will even split the six games with three on the road and three at home. It will welcome the Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams, while visiting the San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals.

NFL Oddly Schedules Dolphins’ Meetings with Jets

Once that west coast strip is completed, Miami will face off against the New York Jets at home in week 10 before taking its bye week in week 11. In an odd twist of scheduling, the NFL has then made Miami visit the Jets again in week 12 following its bye.

Miami Welcomes Defending Super Bowl Champs

The Dolphins will also have a three-game home stretch for the first three weeks of December. Those slates of games will send the defending Super Bowl Champions Kansas City Chiefs to Hard Rock Stadium, along with the Cincinnati Bengals and Patriots for meeting two.

NFL Doesn’t Get Division Schedule Quite Right

The NFL once again slighted Miami as it is sending the team into Buffalo right after the New Year to conclude the season. Thankfully the Dolphins travel to its other division woes when there likely won’t be snow, but the NFL still has yet to fairly schedule Miami’s away division contests correctly for too many years to count.

All the specifics of Miami’s schedule can be found below.
