It’s time once again for WWE’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view. Who will walk away as Mr. & Mrs. Money in the Bank in the strangest match in the history of the stipulation? The briefcases will be on the roof of Titan Towers, and all of the competitors will fight through to the top. There are four other matches announced for the card. Who will win on Sunday night? Giving us predictions this time are:

  • Billy MacDonald – Staff Writer
  • Evan Gomes – Wrestling Managing Editor
  • Javier Melo – Staff Writer
  • Kaden Hanafi – Staff Writer

Here are the predictions:

New Day (c) vs Forgotten Sons vs Miz & Morrison vs Lucha House Party – SmackDown Tag Team Championships

Billy: Smackdown has seen a mix-up in its tag division ever since New Day became champs once again. The Forgotten Sons have looked dominant since coming from NXT, even picking up a win against the tag champs in the process. Any team besides Lucha House Party would make sense here. I’ll take New Day to retain.

Pick: New Day

Evan: Do WWE really love Forgotten Sons enough to give them the belts right away? My gut says no. I think they’ll have a reign sooner rather than later, but the New Day hold on for now.

Pick: New Day

Javier: I think the belt transitions back to Miz and Morrison at some point, but not here. This match hasn’t done anything to make me care for it so this explanation is just whatever.

Pick: New Day

Kaden: New Day won the titles 3 weeks ago and I don’t see them losing this early. New day retain.

Pick: New Day

WWE.com

Bayley (c) vs Tamina – SmackDown Women’s Championship

Billy: Tamina will come inches from becoming champion before Bayley finally pulls it off and keeps her reign alive. No way they give Tamina the title.

Pick: Bayley

Evan: Tamina has been a revelation on social media during this feud, adding layers to her character. I don’t believe it will be enough to get the belt off of Bayley, but this could be a good match.

Pick: Bayley

Javier: Lol.

Pick: Bayley

Kaden: The more I think about this match the more it makes sense for Tamina to win and have Sasha cause Bayley the title. But I think WWE wants the Sasha and Bayley feud to be for a title so Bayley retains but Sasha almost costs her the match.

Pick: Bayley

WWE.com

Braun Strowman (c) vs Bray Wyatt – WWE Universal Championship

Billy: It looks like “The Fiend” will not be present for Money in the Bank and we will see the high-spirited Wyatt that we saw at TLC against The Miz. With that being said, I believe in order to prolong his title reign, Strowman beats Wyatt here and will meet “The Fiend” down the road.

Pick: Braun Strowman

Evan: If the Fiend appears, it is all over for Braun. Advertising makes it appear that it is Bray Wyatt wrestling Braun Strowman, so his reign continues.

Pick: Braun Strowman

Javier: I’m worried that it won’t be The Fiend wrestling and if that’s the case, Braun wins. I think the Fiend will show up and I think Strowman’s reign ends here.

Pick: Bray Wyatt

Kaden: Braun is going to retain and eventually lose to the Fiend at Summerslam.

Pick: Braun Strowman

WWE.com

Drew McIntyre (c) vs Seth Rollins – WWE Championship

Billy: There is no way McIntyre will lose the title this quickly after beating Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania. It will be a good match between Rollins and McIntyre but it will ultimately end with the Scottish Psychopath retaining the WWE title.

Pick: Drew McIntyre

Evan: The Scottish Psychopath is only just getting started. Let this man hold the belt for a long time, making him a legitimate main eventer for life.

Pick: Drew McIntyre

Javier: I’m really excited to see this match. These two are two of the best workers WWE has and have some heat against each other in the build. I think McIntyre retains, but this should, and will, steal the show.

Pick: Drew McIntyre

Kaden: This is my controversial pick of the night. I have Seth beating Drew. In my Mania predictions I said that they want Drew to get a big win in front of a live audience and I think Rollins could win here and have Drew regain it at Summerslam.

Pick: Seth Rollins

WWE.com

Rey Mysterio vs Otis vs Aleister Black vs King Corbin vs Daniel Bryan vs A.J. Styles – Money in the Bank Match

Billy: Black has been my pick for this match ever since he qualified for it. Despite the addition of Styles to the match this is still the perfect opportunity to begin Black’s push to the top of WWE. This one will see either Black or Styles walk away with the contract and I’m sticking with my pick.

Pick: Aleister Black

Evan: This is one of the most wide-open fields since last year, when Brock Lesnar ruined everything for us. Styles is the most likely heel to get a run with the briefcase, and it could give him something to anchor his character on without The Club. That said, I love the idea of Aleister Black with the briefcase.

Pick: Aleister Black

Javier: Styles is just the best choice. Black is intriguing, but it really doesn’t fit his character and he doesn’t need the briefcase to challenge McIntyre. I say Styles wins and cashes in later this year or closer to Mania next year.

Pick: A.J Styles

Kaden: I honestly am not 100% sure on who could win. With one winner from Raw for the womens,  it has to be someone from Smackdown. I think Otis is going to take it. Some people don’t think he’s there yet but I think Vince loves him and this Is one of those cases where if he doesn’t pull the trigger on him he might never get to that next level.

Pick: Otis

WWE.com

Asuka vs Nia Jax vs Shayna Baszler vs Lacey Evans vs Dana Brooke vs Carmella – Money in the Bank Match

Billy: This is a one-sided playing field with the three favorites in this match being from Monday Night Raw. The Smackdown women really have no shot here and the match will near its finish line with Asuka, Jax, and Baszler battling it out for the briefcase. Finally Baszler will be the one to be called Ms. Money in the Bank.

Pick: Shayna Baszler

Evan: Please, please let it be Asuka. She has been the MVP of the empty arena shows and should be rewarded with the briefcase.

Pick: Asuka

Javier: I was struggling with this because I think any of the Raw women can win this. Ultimately, I think Shayna wins and chokes Becky out at some point.

Pick: Shayna Baszler

Kaden: Asuka wins here. She would be perfect with the briefcase.

Pick: Asuka

That’s who we have winning Money in the Bank on Sunday night. Who do you think will walk away with the briefcases? Let us know on Twitter at @FPC_Wrestling.
