According to Jon Heyman, Major League Baseball and the players association have come to an agreement which will allow Major League Baseball to be played in the year 2020. The agreement reportedly includes an expanded playoff pool, and paying the players full pro rated salaries.

There are, however, conflicting reports, as The Athletic’s Evan Drellich reports there is no deal agreed to in principle, or even “close.”
Source says no deal is close yet between MLB and MLBPA beccause the proposal was just sent by MLB. No agreement even in principle at this point.
