WWE’s Evolution pay-per-view from Oct. 28, 2018 re-aired on FS1 last Tuesday. This re-watch caused many fans to speculate not only about if there will be a sequel to the highly praised show, but what matches would take place. Today, I’m going to be dream-booking a second women’s only Evolution PPV. There were eight matches at the first show so I will also be including eight shows on my card.
Opening match: Women’s Battle Royal
I always love a good battle royal to open the show. Last time we saw 20 women in the ring, but with such a stacked women’s division I would like to see 30. Some people that would be in the match are Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Naomi, Carmella, Shotzi Blackheart, and Sonya Deville.
NXT UK Women’s Title Match: Kay Lee Ray(c) vs Xia Brookside
I’ll admit that I watch zero NXT UK so I’m booking this match based off the little bit I watched a few weeks ago when Balor was in his feud with Walter. It seems like Brookside is currently getting a push, so this match would make sense to represent the NXT UK brand at Evolution.
End of an Era Match: Trish Stratus vs Mickie James
For some reason this match didn’t happen at the first Evolution and I honestly have no clue why. The rivalry between Stratus and James has been going on for ages, with little teases for another one on one match during the first women’s rumble and their tag match at Evolution. This would be a fantastic match to end their era and usher in the new era of women’s sports entertainers.
Women’s Tag Title Match: IIconics(c) vs Team Kick(Nox and Kai)
I know I know. Nox and Kai aren’t paired together anymore and the IIconics aren’t the champs. But I’m dream-booking so I can do what I want. I loved Nox and Kai as a team and thought they would be a great team to put the titles on. The IIconics have also been solid since coming back last month and this would be a very solid tag match.

Smackdown Women’s Title Match: Lacey Evans(c) vs Ronda Rousey
This match took me a few minutes to figure out, but Evolution 2 is where I believe we will see the return of “the baddest woman on the planet” Ronda Rousey. She will definitely be on Fox, so a match against Lacey Evans could be very good considering Evans’ finisher being a right hand. They are both absolute badasses in their own respect which could potentially make this a big money title match.
NXT Women’s Title Match: Io Shirai(c) vs Candice LeRae
These two tore the house down in Toronto last August and they could easily do it again, only this time for the NXT Women’s Championship. Both Shirai and LeRae are cruiserweights which would make this the only cruiserweight-style match on the card so it would make sense to have this. Just thinking about it makes me excited!
Raw Women’s Title Match: Asuka(c) vs Shayna Baszler
The two most dominant women in NXT history will faceoff for a championship. This match will be fantastic, as both Asuka and Baszler’s styles will complement each other very well. We originally thought this match would happen after Asuka won the belt last month, but hopefully they save it for Evolution 2 whenever it happens.
Main Event: Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair vs Sasha Banks vs Bayley
In a rematch from NXT TakeOver: Rival, the Horsewomen will have their first 4-way against each other since leaving NXT. Now of course with Becky Lynch being pregnant that means it would be at least a year until this could happen, but I’d be perfectly fine with waiting to see this blockbuster main event.
There were so many matches I thought about including in this show, but these were my final eight. Hopefully Evolution 2 comes sooner rather than later.
