WWE Raw Results

- Street Profits (c) def. Viking Raiders to retain the Raw Tag Team Championships
- Asuka (c) def. Charlotte Flair to retain the Raw Women’s Championship
- Akira Tozawa def. R-Truth (c) to win the 24/7 Championship
- Natalya def. Liv Morgan
- Boss & Hug Connection (c) def. IIconics to retain the Women’s Tag Team Championships
- Apollo Crews def. Shelton Benjamin
WWE Raw Takeaways
Dolph Ziggler has been traded to Raw, and he’s immediately in a program with Drew McIntyre. It isn’t a very exciting next challenger, but it will all be up to the build. Ziggler was a disappointing challenger to Kofi Kingston, and that hurt Kofi’s first title reign. Hopefully the Ziggler-McIntyre build gets something more substance before Extreme Rules

Sasha Banks & Bayley retained, and now Sasha wants to be Sasha Two Belts. She is the next challenger for Asuka, who disposed of Charlotte earlier in the night. Banks versus Asuka sounds like a great feud, but also it will be Banks trying to prove herself as not the weak link of her team. Layers are already present here for an excellent feud.

Edge had a promo on the show where he says Orton has woken up the Rated R Superstar. Quality stuff from Edge, and Orton continues to be a heel firing on all cylinders. Ric Flair is back in Orton’s corner, and his next feud might be with the Big Show. The return of the Legend Killer is upon us.
More than just grit…the ANGER, the FIRE and the PASSION is on full display from @EdgeRatedR!

Sammy Guevara Suspended By AEW
On Tuesday, audio resurfaced from a 2016 Sammy Guevara interview. In the clip, he talks about being at a WWE tryout and wanting to rape Sasha Banks. After the clip made the rounds on social media, Guevara responded.
I’ve made stupid, inappropriate and extremely offensive comments in my past. In my idiotic mind, I thought I was being funny in using words and terms that represent nothing but horror and pain. I am truly sorry for my hurtful words and actions, and I will never forgive myself.

I also want to apologize to @sashabankswwe for my unacceptable comments. She’s an amazing person who didn’t deserve to be the brunt of my offensive remarks. I spoke with her earlier & she helped me learn a gigantic lesson & I thank her for that. Once again, I’m sincerely sorry.

WWE Backstage No Longer Weekly
Fox has made adjustments to their programming calendar, and one of those is the cancellation of WWE Backstage as a weekly production (h/t Fightful). The show instead will only be produced around big events and pay-per-views. WWE Backstage debuted in November of 2019, and has continued through Zoom during the Coronavirus pandemic.
FS1 is scaling back production on its boxing and WWE shoulder programming. "WWE Backstage will not longer be produced weekly. It is eliminating "Inside PBC." Double digit job losses as a result. SBJ Media will have the full story tonight.
