The Wrestling Roundup is here to bring you all the news and rumors you need to know in one place.
WWE Raw Results
It’s hard to believe we’ve already reached the go-home Raw for Extreme Rules. The card looks to be complete, so this show was all about getting to the weekend in an exciting way and building up anticipation. Here are all the results from this week’s Raw:
- Angel Garza & Andrade def. Viking Raiders in an elimination match
- Bianca Belair & Ruby Riott def. IIconics
- Aleister Black def. Buddy Murphy by disqualification
- Kevin Owens def. Seth Rollins
- Randy Orton def. R-Truth
- Bobby Lashley def. Ricochet
- Sasha Banks & Bayley (c) def. Asuka & Kairi Sane to retain the Women’s Tag Team Championships
One of the most exciting developments on this week’s show was the return of Shayna Baszler. She cleared out some ninjas, which is truly only a 4/10 on the quarantine weirdness scale. I hope Baszler is back in the Women’s Championship picture soon. She’s too talented to be left to a background role.

Tammy Sytch Arrested
WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch has been arrested (h/t Fightful). Sytch was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle during a license suspension, eluding a police officer, and contempt/violating of a domestic restraining order. She has been arrested multiple times in the past, and was released from prison earlier this year.
Kevin Owens Driving Force Behind WWE Mask Policy
Chalk another one up for Kevin Owens being a stand-up guy. According to WWE French commentator Pat Laprade, Owens brought up concerns to Vince McMahon at a taping in early July (h/t WrestlingInc). Owens apparently was uncomfortable with the lack of masks, and his conversation with McMahon led to the new mask policy. Good on Owens for speaking his mind for the safety of his co-workers. Fines are in place now, with a $500 fine for a first offense and $1000 for a second one.
