The Wrestling Roundup is here to bring you all the news and rumors you need to know in one place.
WWE Raw Results
Raw’s taping on Monday night was delayed by roughly two hours (h/t Fightful) but the show still went on. We were treated to the Extreme Rules fall-out show. Apparently the delays were partly due to re-working some planned angles after the response to Sunday’s pay-per-view. What did the WWE braintrust come up with for us? Here are the results from Monday’s Raw:
- Seth Rollins def. Aleister Black
- Shelton Benjamin def. R-Truth (c) to win the 24/7 Championship
- Mustafa Ali, Cedric Alexander & Ricochet def. MVP, Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin
- Ruby Riott def. Peyton Royce
- Street Profits def. Angel Garza & Andrade
- Kairi Sane def. Bayley
- Randy Orton def. Big Show in an Unsanctioned match
Mustafa Ali is back! He returned as the third man to support Alexander & Ricochet as they took on MVP’s crew. It is great to have Ali back in the fold, as he adds great depth to the midcard babyface roster.
Ali is back, but Big Show is definitely out. He’s the latest legend to be taken out with a punt kick by Randy Orotn. The big question for the Legend Killer – who’s next?

Ric Flair’s Wife Has COVID-19
According to a report from the New York Post, Wendy Barlow is currently battling COVID-19 (h/t WrestlingInc). The report was confirmed by Ric Flair, her husband, who denied having the virus himself. A source from the Post claimed that Flair tested positive last week, but Flair himself denied it. Flair has continued to be a part of Randy Orton’s heel run, but was not on Monday night’s Raw.
Here’s wishing Wendy a safe and speedy recovery.
Kairi Sane’s Last Day On Monday?
We may have just seen the last of Kairi Sane on our WWE televisions. PWInsider is reporting that Sane’s last day with WWE was on Monday (h/t Fightful). WWE taped two episodes of Raw on Monday, so she may appear on next week’s episode. If this is the end of her run, it feels like WWE missed out on really using Sane to her full potential. It will be interesting to see what Sane does when she returns to Japan.
