The Wrestling Roundup is here to bring you all the news and rumors you need to know in one place.

WWE Raw Results

The go-home Summerslam is already here. It seems to have come up so quickly, but this weekend we’re off to the biggest party of the summer.

  • Apollo Crews def. Shelton Benjamin, banning Benjamin & Bobby Lashley from ringside during his Summerslam match against MVP
  • Shelton Benjamin def. R-Truth (c) to win the 24/7 Championship
  • Angel Garza def. Ivar
  • Natalya def. Mickie James
  • Asuka & Shayna Baszler def. Sasha Banks & Bayley
  • Peyton Royce def. Ruby Riott
  • Cedric Alexander def. Shelton Benjamin (c) to win the 24/7 Championship
  • The Hurt Business def. Apollo Crews, Ricochet, and Mustafa Ali in an elimination tag match
  • Cedric Alexander (c) def. Akira Tozawa to retain the 24/7 Championship
  • Shelton Benjamin def. Cedric Alexander (c) to win the 24/7 Championship
  • Montez Ford def. Andrade

Retribution was also here again. They took over a production truck and didn’t throw Kevin Dunn in a garbage can. A missed opportunity if I’ve ever seen one.

Raw Underground Results

That’s right – another week of Raw Underground. I am truly curious to see if the Underground makes an appearance at Summerslam. Is it exclusive to Mondays, or can they fight in an alley from Def Jam Fight for New York on pay-per-view? Guess we will have to see. Results for this week included:

  • Erik def. Colby Corino
  • Dolph Ziggler def. Erik
  • Marina Shafir def. Brandi Lauren

After Marina won her matchup, Nia Jax appeared and took out both her and Jessamyn Duke. When Shayna Baszler stepped in and an impromptu match started, Jax bailed. I may not be a huge fan of the Underground yet, but that match does intrigue me as an all-out fight.

WWE Announces The Thunderdome

No, it isn’t a sequel to Raw Underground. WWE announced on Monday their plan to incorporate fans into their shows safely – the Thunderdome. Fans will be able to apply to be in the crowd virtually as WWE moves production of Raw, SmackDown & pay-per-views to the Amway Center in Orlando. WWE is promising pyro and an intense presentation. You can see some leaked photos of the set creation down below.
