The Wrestling Roundup is here to bring you all the news and rumors you need to know in one place.

WWE Raw Results

The Summerslam fallout show was last night and it was also the Payback go-home show. That’s right – WWE already has another pay-per-view on Sunday. Summerslam was amazing, and with one week of turnaround it was interesting to see how they used their three hours. Keith Lee made his debut too, so get excited. Here are the results from Monday’s Raw:

  • Shayna Baszler def. Bayley by disqualification
  • Akira Tozawa def. R-Truth, Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin (c) to win the 24/7 Championship
  • Montez Ford def. Angel Garza
  • Bianca Belair, Ruby Riott & Liv Morgan def. The IIconics & Zelina Vega
  • Apollo Crews def. Bobby Lashley in an Arm Wrestling Match
  • Randy Orton def. Keith Lee by disqualification
  • Asuka (c) def. Sasha Banks in a Lumberjill Match to retain the Raw Women’s Championship
  • Rey & Dominick Mysterio vs Seth Rollins & Murphy goes to a no contest when Retribution interferes

One of the biggest developments of the night: Aleister Black is back, and he may have just turned heel. He attacked Kevin Owens after feigning an eye injury. An interesting twist for Black, and one that could open up new avenues for him on the brand.

Payback Card So Far

As mentioned above, Payback is already on Sunday. That’s not a lot of time to put together a card, but it’s already taking shape after Sunday. Here are the matches announced so far, including a title shot for the returning Roman Reigns.

  • The Fiend (c) vs Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman – Universal Championship
  • Bayley & Sasha Banks (c) vs Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax – Women’s Tag Team Championships
  • Apollo Crews (c) vs Bobby Lashley – United States Championship
  • Keith Lee vs Randy Orton

Update On Sonya Deville

At Summerslam, Sonya Deville lost her “Loser Leaves WWE” match against Mandy Rose. That stipulation was put in place due to Deville’s current involvement in a legal matter, according to Dave Meltzer (h/t WrestlingInc). Deville was the victim of an attempted kidnapping earlier this month, and is still handling the situation through the courts. Her lawyer has advised her not to shave her head, so the stipulation changed. There is also the belief that Deville may be taking some time off after the scary situation.

One for the Road:

Renee Young is no more, but Renee Paquette reflected on her time in WWE in a wonderful letter on Players Tribune. Give it a read.
