Aleister Black debuted new music on the show, and it’s a tragedy we lost his old theme. His new one isn’t bad, but the old one absolutely slapped.

Robert Roode also returned on the show, answering Drew McIntyre’s open challenge. He was unsuccessful in getting the WWE Championship, but at least he returned with a glorious beard.

RETRIBUTION Members Not Cleared
Notable by their absence on Monday & Night of Champions was RETRIBUTION. The anarchist group did not make an appearance on the pay-per-view, and only had their logo appear on Monday night. According to Dave Meltzer, there are core members of the group who are not medically cleared to compete (h/t WrestlingInc). The group is reportedly quarantining due to coming in contact with a COVID-19 positive person, according to Ryan Satin. All members have tested negative at this time.
Regarding RETRIBUTION not being cleared to compete at the moment, sources tell me all 5 members tested negative for COVID-19. However, the group's members each have to quarantine themselves for two weeks because they came into proximity with someone who tested positive.

James Storm Was Going To Return To WWE?
Do you remember when Cowboy James Storm had a cup of coffee in NXT? In October 2015, Storm made two appearances on NXT before returning to Impact. According to ProWrestlingSheet, Storm was set to join WWE Raw before the COVID-19 outbreak. Paul Heyman had reached out through talent relations to get Storm to come to Raw, but it never came to pass. Here’s hoping that it works out in the future, and we could get a Beer Money reunion in WWE now that Roode is back.
One for the Road:
All the students out there, good luck with online learning. May you all bring the same energy as this guy.
He joins his online class everyday with a different WWE entrance 🤣
