The year 2020 is shaping out to be a nightmare for the Dallas Cowboys. Injuries have decimated the defensive side of the ball for the Cowboys and the injuries are beginning to take a toll on the offensive side of the ball. We will look at what comes next for the Cowboys this season and even do some looking ahead as far as NFL draft needs go.
With both the starting offensive tackles out for the season, the Cowboys offensive line is in some trouble. La’el Collins is facing surgery on his injured hip and Tyron Smith is now facing surgery on his injured neck. Both Collins and Smith are expected to make a full recovery, but that does not solve the current problems on the offensive lin. Brandon Knight and Terence Steele will assume the starting roles for the Cowboys at the tackle positions.

The season has not gone the way that Dallas Cowboys’ fans have expected. Most fans are starting to look at possible draft spots and just who Dallas may decide to select. While the offensive line is not the focus of the draft needs. The Cowboys will be looking at shoring up all levels of the team.
Meanwhile, on the defensive side of the ball the Dallas secondary has become a bit of a disaster. Opposing teams have picked apart the Dallas secondary. Early targets for the Cowboys to keep an eye on are Georgia safety Richard LeCounte and Ohio State cornerback Shaun Wade. LeCounte is an aggressive safety that can pick off a pass or deliver an impressive tackle. Wade is another impressive Ohio State cornerback that opposing quarterbacks tend to avoid throwing at. It is a bit early to start looking at the draft, but the time to panic is starting to approach the Cowboys and looking at the draft is always a wise move.
