Inactives list for Washington Football Team is as expected
The Week 5 game against the Los Angeles Rams is clearly not the story for the Washington Football Team. De ja vu, am I right?
But, since there is a game to be played, there is an inactive list to comb over:
Inactives for today's game against the #LARams for #WashingtonFootball @WSHFootballSI @SInow @FPC_WSH
QB Dwayne Haskins
CB Greg Stroman
LB Jared Norris
LB Cole Holcomb
T Saahdiq Charles
TE Marcus Baugh— Alan Lepore (@AlanLepore) October 11, 2020
As expected, quarterback Dwayne Haskins, tight end Marcus Baugh, cornerback Greg Stroman, and linebacker Cole Holcomb are on the list. Rookie tackle Saahdiq Charles continues to work his way back from missing most of training camp due to an injury. Linebacker Jared Norris will also see time as an inactive.
Washington did bring in tight end Temarrick Hemingway and elevated him to play in place of Baugh who is missing this weeks game due to a death in his family. This means tight end Jeremy Sprinkle could see more snap share compared to the first quarter of the season.
As no surprise with everything that went down this week in the quarterback room, Alex Smith makes his return to the active roster for the first time since breaking his leg and nearly losing his life due to complications. He will be one snap away in what will likely be an emotional day for the veteran.
