According to Adrian Wojnarowski, given the nature of the injury, the 30-year-old Thompson is expected to make a full recovery.
Thompson reportedly injured it in a pickup game on Wednesday… the day of the NBA Draft. It is devastating news for Thompson who was rehabbing from a torn ACL that he suffered in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals. For the Warriors, it’s a setback in their return to contention after a lost season in 2020 with the absence of Thompson and Steph Curry for a significant portion of the season.
The Warriors finished dead-last in the shortened NBA regular season with a 15-50 record.
