The New England Patriots were officially eliminated from the playoffs with last Sunday’s 22-12 loss in Miami. Offensively, New England has not scored a touchdown for two straight games. Cam Newton continues to struggle running the offense and simply doesn’t have any connection with his tight ends downfield. Jakobi Meyers had a costly fumble in the 2nd half that stopped the Patriot’s momentum. Defensively, New England couldn’t stop Miami’s run game as they ran for 250 yards. The last two weeks of the regular season will be hard for Patriots fans to watch.

Let’s get to know the Buffalo Bills and what to expect come Monday Night:
For the first time since 1995, the Buffalo Bills have won the AFC East. Head Coach, Sean McDermott, has his team sitting at a record of 11-3. Quarterback, Josh Allen made a drastic improvement in his game coming into this year. Allen has thrown for 4,000 yards in 14 weeks. The addition of wide receiver, Stefon Diggs, this past offseason makes this team very difficult to defend in the passing game. Diggs has breakaway speed once he gets separation from cornerbacks. Running back, Devin Singletary is versatile in both the running and passing game.
Defensively, Buffalo creates a lot of problems for opposing offenses. Ed Oliver and Mario Addison create traffic by rushing the passer. Stopping the run is the main priority for the Bills defense. Tremaine Edmunds has multiple responsibilities not only as a linebacker, but he can also cover running backs out of the backfield. Cornerback, Tre’Davious White is arguably the best cornerback in the NFL. White will have a significant edge this Sunday with a bad Patriots receiving core.
