Wrestling legend Mick Foley has announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19. Foley went on Twitter on New Years Day to let people know the news:
I tested positive for COVID following a December virtual signing, and have been isolating in a hotel room for the past 18 days.
Please continue to take this virus seriously – mask up, social distance, look out for one another.
Wishing all of you a happy, healthy new year. pic.twitter.com/WFcM8iuUmi

In the clip, Foley explains that he contracted the virus during a virtual signing where someone else present had symptoms later that night. Foley has now been isolating for the past two and a half weeks. It’s very sad to hear that Foley missed Christmas with his family, given how he has become the wrestling world’s resident Santa Claus.
Here’s wishing Mick Foley a speedy recovery. Foley has become the latest member of the wrestling world to test positive. Miro, Renee Young, Kayla Braxton, AJ Styles and others have publicized that they’ve had and recovered from the virus as well.
