WWE announced on Monday that current WWE Champion Drew McIntyre tested positive for COVID-19. The company announced it on their website on Monday. McIntyre was scheduled to fight Randy Orton on Raw, and is slated to defend the WWE Championship against Goldberg at the Royal Rumble. The WWE Champion is also scheduled to speak on Raw.

Apparently many major brands are affected by a COVID outbreak. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting that the outbreak affects Raw, SmackDown, Impact and AEW (h/t CagesideSeats). No news has come forward as to who are the positives from the other companies, but statements may come sooner rather than later. AEW & Impact have pre-taped their shows for this week, so those should go on as scheduled.
We’ll add any COVID outbreak updates here, so keep posted for updates.
