Coverage

With extra snaps, you could see real improvement in this aspect. The prospect developed a better idea for spatial awareness and tactile proximity. That is to say, the prospect keeps tight space without overcommitting and keeps the prospect within arm’s length. In deeper drops, Lloyd looks fairly comfortable while facing the passing game. As a result, four interceptions and two pick-sixes demonstrate a burgeoning skillset.

Tackling

Why not draft Lloyd with a Day Two pick. The Raiders could use the 2022 season to get the prospect up to speed. Or, if they are truly enthralled with what they see, the former Ute can grab Nicholas Morrow’s spot. In all honesty, the time to bring in younger, more athletic linebackers to inhabit the roster is now. Lloyd fits multiple schemes. As a middle linebacker, he flows between the hashes and beyond. Off the ball, he shows the ability to cover. The Raiders would receive value and versatility in drafting the former Ute standout.
