Per head coach Bruce Arians, the Buccaneers have waived Brown after an outburst on the sideline led to the receiver removing his pads and shirt before retreating to the locker room. This ends a tenure that spanned two seasons but saw Brown play just 14 games over that time.

Brown was instrumental in the Bucs Super Bowl victory over the Chiefs this past February and when he was on the field, he was often a favorite target of quarterback Tom Brady. However, the Bucs did not need him down the stretch as Brady and the Bucs orchestrated a 14-point comeback for their 12th win of the season on Sunday.
With Chris Godwin out for the year, the Bucs will rely heavily on Mike Evans, Brashad Perrimen, and Cyril Grayson moving forward as they look to defend their Super Bowl championship. For Brown, give how the last couple years have played out, it would be surprising to see any team take a chance on him, not only this year but moving forward.
