Granted, quarterbacks may run the NFL, but other vital players will dictate who win ultimately win. The NFC North is no different.

For over fifteen years, Aaron Rodgers served as the focal point of the NFC North. Despite his overall dominance, the rest of the division attempts to keep pace. With that said, the other players must be accounted for.

Aaron Jones (Packers RB)

As mentioned, you cannot understate the importance of Aaron Rodgers. However, Jones gives the Packers offense what many squads endeavor to possess: balance. As a result, Aaron Jones stands head and shoulders above everyone else on his roster. Blessed with vision and the ability to gain chunk yardage at every carry, Jones forces defenses to pay attention and linger not so far away from the line. With fifty-three touchdowns on 1005 touches, Jones gets the most bang for his proverbial buck.

Justin Jefferson (Vikings RB)

The cornerstone of the Vikings’ offense, Jefferson commands not only respect but attention from defenders. Like Stefon Diggs before him, Jefferson serves as the prime example as to why Kirk Cousins cashes such incredibly large paychecks, With crisp route running and catching sixty-seven percent of those targets, Jefferson stands head and shoulders about every wideout in the NFC North. Moreover, whichever receiver occupies the spot on the other side will usually see single coverage.

T.J. Hockenson (Lions TE)

While not aesthetically pleasing, Hockenson fits the Lions and what Dan Campbell hopes to accomplish. First, Hockenson brings a bloodynosed approach to the gridiron. A ferocious in-line blocker, Hockenson wears on defenders with his ability to keep his feet moving in the running game. More importantly, his surer hands present an open target regardless of the scheme faced. In addition, he epitomizes the tough-guy persona that Campbell wanted to establish in Motor City.
