Welcome to the Thursday edition of NFL rumors on Full Press Coverage.
As we await patiently the start of training camp and the preseason, teams are still making last minute roster additions prior to the start of camp. Often times, there are plenty of seasoned veterans on the open market waiting for the right opportunity from the right team. Conversely, teams are waiting to see what unfolds at the start of training camp to see what needs may or may not emerge. It is the reason why players such Ndamukong Suh remain on the open market.
However, will Suh stay on the market much longer? Let’s take a look at the latest rumors from around the NFL.

DL – Ndamukong Suh – Cleveland Browns Closing In?
Rumor: In addition to the Raiders and Vikings, the Cleveland Browns are reportedly interested in signing Super Bowl Champion, Ndamukong Suh, per Tyler Dragon of USAToday.
The Browns already have Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney on the defensive line and adding Suh, albeit at age 33, would make an already formidable group quite dangerous.

Ep 113: The Patriots And The AFC East
by Full Press Coverage on March 17, 2023 at 2:14 pm
After unloading Baker Mayfield earlier this month, the Browns can finally turn the page on that chapter and focus on 2022… assuming a lengthy season-long suspension isn’t in the works for Deshaun Watson. With Suh, the Browns would immediately upgrade their defensive tackle position which was credited with just 21 tackles a season ago. Suh, even in his mid-30s, played all 17 games for the Buccaneers last season and was a key cog on the defense in their Super Bowl run.
Sean Payton – Dolphins, Chargers, and Cowboys Eyeing Former Saints Head Coach?
Rumor: Former Saints head coach and Super Bowl champion, Sean Payton, is expected to return to coaching at some point and the Dolphins, Chargers, and Cowboys are expected to garner his interest, per Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.
Despite walking away from the Saints following the 2021 season, no one expects Sean Payton to stay out of coaching long and that wait may only be for a season. The Dolphins have already been connected to Sean Payton for some time so it’s not surprising to see them once again linked to Payton. However, with Mike McDaniel at the helm, are the Dolphins really going to push hard for Payton?
The Chargers are intriguing as you can argue the reason they didn’t win the division is because of the coaching decisions that plagued them throughout the season. An upgrade to Payton could be the recipe for a Super Bowl birth.
As for the Cowboys, the connection is obvious. Payton was an assistant coach in the Cowboys organization before taking over the Saints job over 15 years ago. With Mike McCarthy currently at the helm, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Jerry Jones and Co. take a stab at bringing in Payton next season if the Cowboys can’t get over the hump in 2022.
NFL Sunday Ticket Heading To Apple?
Rumor: Apple is emerging as the favorite to land the NFL Sunday Ticket package, per Dylan Byers of Puck News.
The eventual price of the former DirectTV package could exceed $3 billion, according to the same report. A whopping, yet not surprising, cost for the ability to watch every out-of-market game. The other two platforms mentioned as finalist are Amazon and Disney. Either way, the shift from a satellite exclusive package to a streaming one should open the door for many other customers to enjoy Sunday Ticket which is currently price at around $300 season but limited to DirectTV customers.

Directtv has done virtually nothing for the sport other than limiting who could watch NFL games by being so inflexible and playing that ignorant and stupid game of restrictions like the fans are children…no you can’t do this if you have that, being required to take all or nothing at exorbitant monopoly dollars and basically limiting viewership because they can because you were either forced to pay for the whole package and be out big dollars not only for Sunday Ticket but also paying huge subscription fees for Directtv and the obsolete eyesore on your roof or go to a bar to see your out of market team and be bankrupted from beer and chicken wings at exorbitant fees for months on end!! Streaming should have been mandatory for any contract agreement with the monopoly known as the NFL and could’ve been a bigger cash cow for them had they made that a requirement of the bidding process long ago when Directtv 1st bid on them for what seems like a millennium and how about making the streaming service cheaper by offering a la carte and being able to just buy into your favorite team, having the next tier your division and then conference etc., as this practice could potentially open the game to a much broader spectrum of audience!! Personally I don’t give a rat’s pituty about any other game but the Raiders, that is unless I have a wager on the dolts or the jackasses losing to an opponent or how it effects the division standings, so it would seem like someone is finally waking tf up, thank Christ!!!!
