The Kansas City Chiefs will be looking for their fourth straight victory this Sunday night. Meanwhile, the college football slate is nearing its conclusion, at least for the regular season. Before the Chiefs take on the Los Angeles Chargers this weekend, fans can turn their attention to that college slate. We will now present this week’s FPC Chiefs draft prospect watchlist, listing players to watch.
It is never too early to think about possible draft prospects for next spring. With some positions being lighter on long-term contracts and potential needs, Kansas City will have eyes on certain spots. Each weekend, we will be listing some prospects to keep in mind as possible fits for the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2023 NFL Draft. Be on the lookout for different prospect names each and every week. Here are five players for Chiefs fans to monitor in Week 12 of college football. Let’s kick it off.
DE Habakkuk Baldonado, Pitt
Opponent: Duke
Kickoff: Saturday, November 19 at Noon ET on ACC Network
Habakkuk Baldonado is an intriguing prospect. This is due to both his career background and continued improvement for the Pitt Panther defense. A native of Italy, Baldonado has experience in various sports like soccer, swimming, while playing football in Italy before coming to the U.S. From the jump, Baldonado boasts a powerful style as a pass rusher. He does a good job of keeping his hands active and his chest hidden, forcing offensive linemen to think on their feet. All in all, he has grown as an edge defender, being able to set a firm contain on the outside. Baldonado appears to be extremely athletic and versatile for his size, to boot.
SAF Brandon Joseph, Notre Dame
Opponent: Boston College
Kickoff: Saturday, November 19 at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock
After beginning his college career at Northwestern, Brandon Joseph transferred to Notre Dame. In both of his stops, this defender has flashed superb ball skills, instincts and range. There will be some team that gets an instant turnover machine in Joseph in this draft. Given that Juan Thornhill is a pending free agent, Kansas City could insert someone like Joseph as a free safety. Overall, this defender will have to maintain that he can be trusted to make tackles or win footraces in space. If he does that, Joseph will make whichever team drafts him extremely happy.

Ep 161: Lions Dissapoint; NFL MVP; Week 12 Discussion
by Full Press Coverage on November 27, 2023 at 12:12 am
WR Rakim Jarrett, Maryland
Opponent: Ohio State
Kickoff: Saturday, November 19 at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC
It is still tricky to guess what the Chiefs wide receiver room looks like next year. Hopefully, JuJu Smith-Schuster returns. Kadarius Toney also looks to be a bargain addition as well. Nonetheless, Kansas City could still add a rookie wideout next spring. Maryland’s Rakim Jarrett is an explosive play threat at seemingly any moment. Additionally, his ability to find the spots in zones and attack them aggressively just looks so easy. Jarrett’s route running comes off as aggressive, yet under control and smooth. His separation quickness is tantalizing for any offense, as a result.
OT Jordan McFadden, Clemson
Opponent: Miami (FL)
Kickoff: Saturday, November 19 at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN
Jordan McFadden aligns as the starting left tackle for the Clemson Tigers. He has plenty of experience, playing in numerous games at the college level. McFadden will enter the NFL as a bit of an older prospect. His physicality at the point of attack and nasty demeanor are just a couple of his plus traits. On the other hand, McFadden has largely displayed an even balance with his feet and stays sturdy with his arm extension. He may not be the most athletic or mobile offensive tackle. Yet, McFadden has shown that he understands proper angles and body positioning out on the edge.
DT Keondre Coburn, Texas
Opponent: Kansas
Kickoff: Saturday, November 19 at 3:30 p.m. ET on FS1
Keondre Coburn is a defensive line prospect who boasts a worthy mix of size and movement skills. For his mobility, Coburn’s first step is arguably the most advantageous part of his athletic profile. You can also see that this player has a nonstop motor on tape. In general, Coburn can offer a fair amount of versatility, which could very well get the attention of a team like the Chiefs. For instance, Coburn can offer gap control tendencies, he can shoot gaps and he can disengage from blocks with a well-versed pass rush repertoire. As a player that offers multiplicity at a low value position, Coburn could continue to see his stock rise.
