College Football Week 2 Games To Watch -

The 2023-24 College Football season is underway. We here at Full Press Coverage have been previewing each conference with who we expect to win based on the odds presented by the books. In addition, Full Press Coverage will give you the AP Top 25 Poll each week along with must-watch games for each week.

After a thrilling opening Week 1 of the College Football season, where there were some blowouts and upsets, Week 2 is here with even more hype, especially Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes. Each week, Colorado is always a must-watch.

However, this week with the new poll out and rankings, we get a couple of ranked-ranked matchups headlined by Texas travelling to Alabama. In addition, some teams could be on upset alert, while others look to follow up on their Week 1 performers.

As we enter Week 2 of the College Football season, there are several intriguing matchups with playoff and conference implications on the line. Not to mention, some of the contenders bounce back after a tough Week 1.

(11) Texas vs. (3) Alabama – Game of the Week

The game of the week is the Texas Longhorns taking on the Alabama Crimson Tide. It is the rematch from last year that saw, the Tide squeak out a victory with Bryce Young as QB. Also, Quinn Ewers got hurt in that game and the Longhorns still kept it close. This time, the Longhorns have to travel to Alabama. That is a tough place to play. The Longhorns have the skill and speed to match the Crimson Tide, but Nick Saban at home is unstoppable. Yes, the QB position is unstable with Jalen Milroe, but you know Bama will be ready for this primetime matchup.

Nebraska vs. (22) Colorado

Look, we saw Matt Rhule and the Cornhuskers blow another lead. This time to the Minnesota Golden Gophers in Week 1. They have a test going to the high-flying Buffaloes from Colorado. Deion Sanders has made this team fun to watch. Defensively, they will need to get better. Nebraska could slow them down, but Colorado should win this game behind Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter, Dylan Edwards and the rest of that offense. Look Colorado showed the world they were for real last week against TCU. Now, it is time to back it up again. This will be a test, but Colorado should win.

(10) Notre Dame vs. NC State

Look Notre Dame is undefeated heading into this ACC battle, but not the ACC battle with the Wolfpack from NC State. The Fighting Irish offense looks a lot different with Sam Hartman at quarterback. But like Hartman, who has a record of 1-2 against the Wolfpack, the Fighting Irish are 1-2 against NC State. In addition, Hartman has thrown for 923 yards, including six TDs, but also thrown 6 INTs and got sacked 13 times. The Wolfpack gives Hartman and Notre Dame trouble. One positive for Hartman and Notre Dame, they both won the last meeting—just something about going to that atmosphere that gives this team trouble. ND has to be on upset alert.

(20) Ole Miss vs. (24) Tulane

One of the other ranked games on the schedule this week is Ole Miss taking on Tulane. Tulane had a nice showing last week, beating South Alabama. Tulane beat USC in the Cotton Bowl and people are taking notice. Now, they only moved up one spot. The American Conference gets no love. But the Green Wave is a solid team. Ole Miss will be a test for them, though. Lane Kiffin’s squad is making noise in the SEC. Now, in Week 1, they played Mercer, so this will be a test for them. But if Tulane can get the win here, look out for them later on in the season.

(19) Wisconsin vs. Washington State

This one is a little later on in the day but Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers head to Washington State to face the Cougars. Fickell has given the Badgers a different look with a spread offense. Four wide receiver sets along with one back and most plays out of the shotgun. Now they looked good in Week 1. This will be a test. Washington State is a good team, especially at home. They are known to pull upsets. Like ND, Wisconsin needs to be on upset alert. Lots of emotion with the Cougars honoring Mike Leach they will be ready for this one.

Throw in other games like (14) Utah going to Baylor, while (23 Texas A&M visits Miami. Both of those games should be good ones. Not to mention Pac-12 after Dark featuring USC. Again it is another week where some of the top schools big up on those mid-majors, but who knows there could be another upset or two.
