The New England Patriots day went from bad to worse as star linebacker Matthew Judon suffered a lower bicep tendon tear in the team’s 38-3 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, according to Adam Schefter.

The injury occurred in the fourth quarter and will reportedly sideline the 31-year-old, but for how long remains to be seen as further tests are required.
Judon came into Week 4 as the team leader in sacks with four. He had a pair of quarterback hits before exiting the game against the Cowboys. In 17 games in 2022, Judon had a career-best 15.5 sacks to lead the Patriots.
