The 2023 College Football season is moving along quickly. Can you believe there is only one week left in the regular season before Championship Saturday?
Full Press Coverage has ramped up our college football coverage this season. Every week this season, we have given you the latest AP Top 25 Poll. As of last week, we are also giving you the College Football Playoff Committee Rankings as well. And there is a lot of movement this week inside the latest rankings as Week 11 of the season came and went.
It will be interesting to see what the third College Football Playoff Committee Rankings look like this Tuesday, especially what we saw in the latest AP Top 25 Poll. Of course, there are always differences. Speaking of changes, the Top Four is different. For most of the season, Michigan was two, and Ohio State was three, with Florida State four.
This week, we see Ohio State jump over Michigan ahead of their matchup next week. Like the College Football Rankings, Ohio State is two. And, of course, Georgia is number one again in the poll. Michigan followed a trend we saw most of the season: if a top team barely wins or does not play up to their potential against a weaker opponent, they drop. Again, it is not going to matter because next week between Michigan and Ohio State is a defacto playoff game.
Meanwhile, despite playing a close game against Oregon State on the road, the Washington Huskies were rewarded. They jump from five to four to pass Florida State, who played North Alabama and killed them. The Huskies have run the table thus far with five top-25 victories. Remember when the Huskies beat Arizona they were not ranked, but the Wildcats are 16th now. And of course, USC was ranked 20th, and they are out of the poll. But when Washington beat the Trojans, they were ranked. Good resume.

Going through the rest of the AP Top 25 Poll, the rest of the Top Ten remained the same outside of Missouri, moving to the 10 spot and Louisville remaining at nine before their final regular season game. Georgia’s resume is being helped by Missouri’s ranking and Tennessee’s remaining in the Top 25.
Keep a watch on Alabama. The Crimson Tide are rolling at the right time with Jalen Milroe ahead of their matchup with Auburn and Georgia in the SEC Title Game. Also, Washington and Oregon are on a path to the Pac-12 Title game. That will determine a lot for the College Football Playoff.
What a run the Pac-12 is having in the final year of existence as we know it. Also, James Madison lost, but they are still at 24 and hopefully, they get into a bowl with so many teams ineligible for bowl games this season.
