Were Chiefs Truly "Bored" This Season? Travis Kelce alluded to the Chiefs being more focused on the playoffs a while ago. It showed greatly.
As of this writing, The Raiders struggle at safety. Their best safety cannot cover, makes poor decisions, and shows a disturbing lack of judgment.
The Raiders need all the quality safety help they can muster. Outside of Johnathan Abram, whose problematic approach hurts them, the team lacks depth.
The Raiders remain on the outside, looking in. With three winnable games, you will see them hopefully play with a semblance of desperation.
Abram’s aggressiveness can work now. However, when the Raiders' defense begins actually succeed, someone must help him downshift into a slightly less aggressive gear.
Vegas needs to duplicate strong defense performance more consistently. It can't be a surprise when they shut someone down, needs to be a regular occurrence.
This week, the Raiders did just enough to pull out a win, but if the effort is similar next week, the Saints could be headed towards a track meet.
Despite only appearing for one game in the 2019 season, the team had a different level of the tenacity with Abram on the field.
The Las Vegas Raiders will probably slot Randall in based on his style of play. they key will be chemistry.
The 6’3” safety showed his potential in 2018. With no regression, Delpit should hear his name called on Day One.
At his current weight, slotting him next to Johnathan Abram could give the Raiders a blend of size, range and jarring ability that would change the complexion of games.
