The Cleveland Browns had themselves another great game in week seven, especially for fantasy. Hopefully, they helped you pull out the win they couldn’t in real life.
Baker Mayfield had a bounce-back week and looked good again finishing in the top ten at quarterback. Nick Chubb got his first start as the full-fledged starter, even though Duke Johnson Jr. was listed as the starter. Chubb scored and ran for 80 yards. Jarvis Landry and David Njoku carried the team in the receiving game both getting touchdowns, and Jarvis carving up the defense for almost 100 yards.
They now go for a rematch against the Pittsburgh Steelers. All of these players except Baker were exceptional in game one and will look to continue that success and pull off the win this week.
Quarterback: Baker Mayfield – Start
Baker finished in the top 10 last week and has a chance to do so again this week. Pittsburgh’s defense has struggled against the pass, and Baker has the weapons and skills to carve them up. His biggest concern will be holding onto the ball too long as the Steelers defensive line is still very good.
Running backs: Nick Chubb – Start, Duke Johnson Jr. – Sit
Chubb will be the starter going forward and should start every week. While he did get a little lucky in his touchdown last week, he was given the ball 18 times and was the clear workhorse. Volume is king in fantasy and he will get it.

Johnson is a sit from this point forward. Many believed including me that Duke would have a resurgence of such with Carlos Hyde leaving. Johnson had a more defined role now and yet still didn’t come through for fantasy. Johnson needs to be placed on your bench permanently until he proves he’s worth a start.
Wide receivers: Jarvis Landry – Start, Antonio Callaway – Sit, Damion Ratley – Start
Jarvis returned with a bang last week getting 97 yards and a touchdown and dominating for over 20 fantasy points last week. In their first matchup, Landry had over 100 yards and I expect a similar outing this week. Landry is the only truly reliable wide receiver on this team.
Damion Ratley will be in the slot again this week and while he struggled last week he has a much better matchup this week. While he likely won’t have a huge week in PPR leagues he has a real shot of putting up double digits and is worth a flex starter.
Antonio Callaway is an extremely talented player yet he just can’t catch the ball. All it takes is one play for Callaway to have a great fantasy day, but until he becomes more trustworthy he needs to remain on the bench.
Tight end: David Njoku – Start
Njoku is the one player on this offense that must be started every week. He is a physical freak and a top 10 tight end. He has continued to produce every week and will continue to do so, especially in a very weak position for fantasy.
Cleveland Browns defense – Sit
While Cleveland still continues to turn the ball over at an incredible rate, they have been gashed by the run the past few weeks. Until the can shore up the run defense, they need to sit.
