We have finally reached our Super Bowl. It’s week 16 and it is likely a very bitter sweet feeling for most. While you may have made it to the championship, our Cleveland Browns chances to make the playoffs are gone. On top of that with it being week 16 it also means we have reached the end of another fantasy football season. While some of our Browns players didn’t play great against Denver they didn’t sink us either in week 15 as many players came up short. While it was a disappointing performance for fantasy last week, we now come in against a divisional opponent at home. A team Baker Mayfield and the Browns beat up on earlier in the season. The real question is can we count on them in our championship week to do it again?
Quarterback: Baker Mayfield – Start
While Baker struggled some against the Denver Broncos in week 15 he still came through as a QB2 for fantasy. This week he gets to go up against our old friend Hue Jackson and the Cincinnati Bengals. The last time he played the Bengals he put up 25 fantasy points. While I don’t expect him to be quite that good, he will likely put up close to 20 against a poor pass defense.
Running backs: Nick Chubb – Start, Duke Johnson Jr. – Sit
Nick Chubb gave us 10 points against Denver, while it wasn’t his best game it was still good enough to contribute to a win. This week he goes against a Bengals team that has been getting gashed by the run. Much like Baker, Chubb destroyed the Bengals last time they played putting up 26 fantasy points. He is on pace to do that again this week as I predict he will score multiple touchdowns again, and likely get 100 yards rushing again.
Wide receivers: Jarvis Landry – Start, Antonio Callaway – Start, Rashard Higgins – Sit, Breshad Perriman – Sit

Jarvis Landry is the hardest player to predict in this Browns offense. Baker does a great job of hitting the open player instead of forcing the ball to anyone. While that’s great for the offense, it does hurt Landry and his numbers. However, Jarvis has been open on a couple plays and Baker has missed him. Landry has put up double digit points in 2 out of the last 3 weeks and should return to double digits this week.
Antonio Callaway scored last week like we predicted, and guess what he is likely going to score again this week. While it wasn’t a long touchdown the points still count. Callaway has continued to improve every week and quickly becoming a key part of this offense he should be able to torch this defense.
Tight end: David Njoku – Start
David Njoku has just been bad for fantasy and in the NFL the past couple weeks. Some have contributed that to his nagging knee injury. Regardless chances are you don’t have a better tight end. He has a good matchup and should put up points this week. He is still a top 15 option on the season so only bench him if you have another top 12 option.
Cleveland Browns Defense – Start
Cleveland is still second in the league in turnovers and playing incredible defense of late. No A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd, or Andy Dalton. Add in a banged up Joe Mixon and the Browns last home game this season. I expect the defense to come out on fire and cause multiple turnovers and score this week.
