Andrade Wins US Championship
At a WWE Live event in Madison Square Garden, Andrade defeated Rey Mysterio to capture the United States Championship. It is the first main-roster singles title for Andrade, as he is a one-time NXT Champion. WWE rarely does title changes on house shows, but WWE is also partial to big moments happening in MSG.

NXT When Worlds Collide Main Event Announced
An eight-man tag will headline When Worlds Collide in January. It has been announced that NXT’s Undisputed Era will face NXT UK’s Imperium in the main event (h/t WrestlingInc). When Worlds Collide will feature the top talent of NXT facing off against the best of NXT UK. This matchup will be massive, as both factions have dominated their respective brands. Plus we will likely get to see Kyle O’Reilly take a WALTER chop, and that is worth the price of admission.

Austin Theory & Shotzi Blackheart Make NXT Debuts
If you missed NXT on Christmas Day, you missed two big debuts for the black and yellow brand.
Austin Theory debuted by answering an open challenge for Roderick Strong’s North American Championship. He lost, but looked great in his first NXT action.
Shotzi Blackheart’s debut came against Bianca Belair. She also took the loss and looked good even while staring at the lights for a three count.
The future of NXT continues to evolve and look brighter.
