The Baltimore Ravens are facing the prospect of being shorthanded for the second straight week. Six players did not practice Friday ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Cleveland Browns.
Odell Beckham Jr., Rashod Bateman, Ronnie Stanley, Marlon Humphrey, Odafe Oweh, and David Ojabo were held out of practice. All six players are currently considered questionable for Week 4’s contest. Tyler Linderbaum and Kyle Hamilton are also listed as questionable against Cleveland.
This is not something to be taken lightly, as evidenced by Week 3’s stunning loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Even the most talented teams can find themselves falling victim to a lesser team if enough players are unavailable. The problem for Baltimore is that they are facing one of the least talented teams in the league this week. In fact, the Browns are one of the most talented teams in the NFL, even without Nick Chubb and Jack Conklin.

The Ravens will still have as good of a chance as anyone when they face the Browns this Sunday. Cleveland’s offense has mostly struggled, and there is a possibility that Deshaun Watson does not play. Even if Watson does play, Baltimore is not a pushover and should be able to be competitive against the Browns on the road. However, being without some of the names currently listed as questionable will make things more difficult, but not impossible.
