The 2023 College Football season is moving along quickly. Can you believe there are only two weeks left in the regular season before Championship Saturday?
Full Press Coverage has ramped up our college football coverage this season. Every week this season, we have given you the latest AP Top 25 Poll. As of last week, we are also giving you the College Football Playoff Committee Rankings as well. And there is a lot of movement this week inside the latest rankings as Week 11 of the season came and went.
It will be interesting to see what the third College Football Playoff Committee Rankings look like this Tuesday. There were differences last week. There will be changes in both polls this week. With the top teams winning, the order of 1-8 did not change much. The rest of the AP Top 25 Poll changed a lot this week. Especially with the season trend we saw from the voters.
Well, the Oklahoma State Cowboys had a disappointing effort after their big win against Oklahoma. That was a major misstep with the Big 12 Title game on the horizon. It hurts the Big 12 chances of getting into the playoffs, considering Texas is the best team in the conference. The Cowboys go from 15 to 24 in the latest poll. Expect them to drop on Tuesday as well.
Some big winners this week are Louisville, who are back in the Top 10 for the first time since 2016. The Cardinals are at nine in this week’s poll. Tulane also rises to 17 and James Madison goes to 18. Nice to see some of the smaller schools getting recognition in the Top 25 Poll. Tulane’s only loss this season was to Ole Miss early in the year. Don’t forget the Green Wave beat USC in the Cotton Bowl last year.

Going through the rest of the AP Top 25 Poll, Georgia and Michigan remain one-two. No surprise there. Michigan and Ohio St are on another collision course with the Big Ten East Title on the line. Penn State only drops back a couple of spots in their loss. And watch out for Alabama. Though the Top Eight remain the same, the Crimson Tide are playing the best and could give Georgia a run for their money in the SEC Title Game.
Also, Washington and Oregon are on a path to the Pac-12 Title game. That will determine a lot for the College Football Playoff. Also, Arizona jumped into the Top 20 at 19 with their win over Colorado. Liberty is at 25 to close the poll out for this week.
The rest of the Top 8 is the same. Don’t sleep on the Alabama Crimson Tide right now. Penn State is back inside the top 10 ahead of their showdown with Michigan. Ole Miss holds down the 10 spot. Pac-12 has five teams in the Top 25 Poll, with Arizona entering the poll and Utah moving up to 13 ahead of their matchup with Washington.
