It’s here, it’s here, it’s finally here.
The 2026 NFL season is upon us as we get ready for a Super Bowl rematch between the Seahawks and Patriots to kick off the season.
After an offseason filled with coaching changes, quarterback movement, blockbuster additions, injuries, hype and the usual amount of NFL chaos, it’s time to find out how much of what we think we know is actually true. There are legitimate Super Bowl contenders, teams facing enormous pressure to finally break through, young rosters ready to take the next step and, of course, a few fanbases already talking themselves into something they’ll probably regret by Halloween.
So, as we roll out our first Full Press Coverage Power Rankings of the 2026 season, we’re adding a little soundtrack to the proceedings. Every team gets a song that best represents its outlook entering the year. Some are serious. Some are optimistic. Some are sarcastic. And a few may be slightly cruel — but if you’ve followed the NFL long enough, you know every franchise eventually earns one of those.
