Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams exited Sunday’s 9-3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings after suffering a non-contact right hamstring injury in the fourth quarter. Williams pulled up while rolling left on a first-and-goal play, immediately went to the ground in visible pain and required assistance getting off the field.

Williams was evaluated in the medical tent before being carted to the locker room. Tyson Bagent replaced him at quarterback for the remainder of the game. Williams finished the afternoon with 138 passing yards and an interception, while adding 42 yards on the ground.
The Bears have not yet provided a timetable for Williams’ return, and the severity of the hamstring injury remains unclear. Chicago is scheduled to face the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3, making Williams’ status one of the biggest injury situations to monitor throughout the coming week.
